TX Infidel, if they pass HR 1505, alot of folks are going to be behind enemy lines especially in the border states. This bill if passed, will give Homeland Security the ability and means to take over lands 100 miles in from the border....they can erect fences, build roads, set up equipment, take over resources such as water wells, etc. The bill was originally introduced in April 2011 however recently it has been brought back up and is now on the calender. Thanks thats kinda what I was trying to get at. Federally stolen or "owned" land. Which they seem to be doing a lot of in the rocky mountain area.

Thanks for the replies. After writing this I thought this thread was kinda silly, but then again there must have been a reason for posting it. Maybe just for getting a feel for this place as it is a new forum for me. Sort of like my unit here I was nervous about going to my first training here, but now I find myself anticipating it and looking forward to it.

Now I have been traveling a bit and the last few years and have noticed some things that are different in all parts of the country. The part I said about being in the front lines was that there is very little DHS here, but on the other hand I guess there going to be having undercover DHS on busses in Houston, but thats a story for another time. What I meant was that we have far more people here in this city than police, military etc. It's the 4th largest metropolitan area in the country. So besides DHS we have the whole immigration problem here to deal with, we've got Mexico as a neighbor to deal with and this city is very multicultural which is a good thing in a way as for the most part everyone gets along, but there seems to be another element, being in the south and all but I digress.

Now in my travels I have been to most airports including both in Chicago and also in Ohio and I have talked to the locals a lot. Which by the way I refuse to travel by airplane after my last few experiences. But anyways Chicago is clamped down hard with a bunch of laws that don't make sense and make criminals out of ordinary people, also big on DHS. I hear they made it illegal to smoke cigarettes outdoors or in a park. Thats just crazy, being that for most of the year it is colder than a freezer. When I was there, I decided not to go through the security to go burn one because DHS was just insane there.

Well anyways me reasoning behind writing this, was in part I was hoping to find some effective ways of communication when SHTF, our group has talked a bit about hamm radio and some short term plans for grouping together, But I feel like we are no where near as organized as we should be honestly.

Well I definitely not stupid enough to get on the FEMA bus. But thanks for the heads up and I don't think anything short of a nuke is going to rattle peoples heads enough around here to do that, but I don't know if Houston is a sanctuary city. Anyways, I don't live in a heavily metropolitan area, more on the outskirts and I can get to my BO location by foot if I have to, but I plan on using back roads, no major highways, except for one to cross. If need be I will get out and fight if I have to. But I don't see it happening like that.

Anyways Ive been trying to convince the wife of that, she is slowly waking up, but she's also the bread and butter right now. She doesn't like to be bothered with all the doom and gloom as much as I try to pound it into her, she still prefers ignorance.

Funny story though, last night I was at the store and caught some shit from some spanish only speaking thugs. They were basically talking bs in spanish to me for being white alone. But it didn't bother me too much since I didn't understand more than 10%. It did inspire me to go buy ammo and keep my handgun on me at all times. Im trying to condition my wife, Tonight we went to the store and I brought it and it freaked her out a little but then I explained that to her and how it worked etc. She is coming around though, and might even come and patrol with us just to see what its all about.

Oh also wanted to add, that I went to Academy Sports today to get some more ammo and they are out of the Monarch 7.62 and all that was left was the crappy tul ammo and the winchester brass which is more expensive and I am trying to get a good supply going so right now I rely on the cheap crap. AnywaysI asked one of the guys cause last time I was there, it was also out of stock and he told me that they were not receiving any because production could not keep up with demand so I had to buy a few cartons of the crappy tul ammo. Anyways the monarch stuff apparently can not be found even in the warehouse so that tells me that the stuff is going really fast and its probably the government buying most of it up.

I don't know what kinda ammo you all use or recommend but Ive been preferring the Monarch as a convenience. Anyways the Walmarts shelfs are always out of 7.62 and now its looking like Academy too. Its going fast.

Order that ammo! You get much better deals that way! Another sentence that caught my eye was the fact that you recognize we are not organized to take a threat on even though that threat is seen by everyone and your absolutely right! That is why 5 states now have their Militias going pro by getting with the sheriffs they can in their states also they are dropping the angry rhetoric and getting with those soldiers that join within their ranks and are becoming better regimented,, this is very attractive to the public and im sure the more Militias adopt this stance we will grow real nicely!!

I know some may read this and think to themselves or even publicly claim that that is a soft stance for the militias to take,, think of it like this though. Do we see the US Marine Corp going around infighting on the computer and being secrete squirrel warscreamers?? No we do not,, they are regimented and highly trained with a code on honor and dicapline and if anyone thinks the Marine Corp is soft,, well let them target something as an enemy and we will see just how soft they are! The fact of the matter is the Militias are the true guardians of the Republic and its high time they act accordingly!! We are the care takers of our communities as well! I could go on about this as a book so i think ive said enough to get my point across to anyone who reads this and claims to be in the Militia!!

If we are a true Militia as our founders set up for us to be then i would say that its time to be like those Marines out there in our Military!! Its time to set up a professional safe platform and become assets to our nation with honor,and a disaplined code of ethics! 5 State are already starting to do this and we would really hope other states will get on board as im sure they will! Im sure some out there will say we do not have time to get this done and maybe we do not but i will remind everyone out there that we have seen what is going on right now before and well, that martial law come down,, the fact is that they our adversaries just do not have the man power it will take to get that done right now!!

If the Militia keeps the coarse it is on now well here again,, our adversaries will eventualy get that man power and then we are in real trouble!! Remember this,, are you afraid of the one that is acting like they cannot get organized because they cannot get past their foolish activities, infighting and such or are you going to fear the ones that get organized professionally, is well trained and disaplined like the US Marine Corp?? Do we want to be taken seriously or not? Food for thought!!! ,: )
