Subject: CHRISTIAN AMERICA!!!!!!!
"{CIVIL WAR}" most assuredly without controversy, or any doubt whatsoever! Why? Because the True Churches of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ are sparsely attended, State Churches under government rules fairly well attended. The American Legion(serving Alcohol-during Church time). Speaking of Church time, many are packing, but most remain home!!!!!!!
Christian America it is way past midnight, what are "{YOU}" going to do about it???
I am still Chaplain of Militias-

When churches start protecting God and Jesus as much as they protect their tax exempt status I might go back. I don't need a church to believe in God and Jesus, but churches do need us. I can talk with God without a church but corrupt churches can't make it without us.
This Patriot Militia Chaplain Pastors a Free Church.

In other words,We need to insure that our own houses are in order. And pray that God attends our lives. In my humble opinion of course.
I pray that God never tires of Attending my home here in America and pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, that OUR one Nation united remains under God and under HIS will.
I have been with Well Regulated American Militias WRAM Regulator since the founding. This Chaplain is very active! Why the opposition?
Permalink Reply by Chancy Yardbird on May 7, 2012 at 3:34pm Greetings Chaplain, To what opposition do you speak? I certainly don't oppose your good honest efforts. I did want to ask you though, About the American Legion comment in your message. Is there a particular American Legion Post whose house rules allow booze to be served in the social area on Sundays? I'm pretty certain I've never visited one. And that the "Suggested Natiional House rules suggests against it other than very special occasions like returning troops or better. Please advise me on your understanding of the issue. The American Legion is very active in veterans and military affairs so I see this very related to militia and a part of our American fabric.
Opposition: "This should probably in the Group Religious". I am so very glad to hear that the American Legion does not usually serve booze, however my wife and I observed the Legion opened and well attended on a Sunday during normal church hours( our services are at an earlier time)and wrongly assumed there would be drinking there.I apologize for the gaff.
However the American Legion in St. Marys, has banned Tea Party /Militia. I, my father(deceased), and brother are life members of the American Legion.
Permalink Reply by Orion Darkwood on May 9, 2012 at 10:08am IMHO the American government should not be part of any religious discussion, hence the reason our forefathers gave us separation of church and state. Now to the heart of the issue, the churches are being attacked and destroyed from the inside as well as the outside. In school they can not have a Christmas show but yet they allow Muslims to wear their Burqas and Jewish wear their Yarmulkes. If you are not going to have church in school then it show apply to everyone.
There should not be 10 commandments on the wall of our courts, there should not be public prayer at government events. Christmas decorations (well true Christian ones) should not be on government property. Church and Religion is a personal item and not something the government should encourage or condemn. However I do believe that schools should discuss religion and church in terms of historical terms and to compare and contrast them. Also they teach creationism and intelligent design as well as evolution in science classes in school.
The churches need to do more to present a better image to the public. They have been some many cases of church leaders letting the power of their stations go to their heads. Also most of the chruchs I have been in seem to care more about those than can give them the most money or well to be frank the church lifers that are retired and do nothing but to do the church. It creates a hostile environment to the younger generation. I am not saying they need to change what they preach for the younger generations. However they should not let those that give the most or any one generation have absolute say over the church.
I will speak more later.
Permalink Reply by Orion Darkwood on May 9, 2012 at 3:09pm Point taken.. I am more than happy to discuss religion with people (I am type of person that says the hell with polite conversion and political correctness and let's it roll). However I agree if I say no the first time, trying to browbeat me is just going to make me dig in harder.
Permalink Reply by Richard Milligan CO on May 9, 2012 at 2:35pm If you read the Constitution you see it says seperation of Church and State not religion and state. This was to keep one church from controlling this country like in the old world, not to keep religion out of the country. If they wanted religion out of it I think there were quit capable of saying that. Quit trying to change the constitution, we're trying to preserve it.
Permalink Reply by Chancy Yardbird on May 9, 2012 at 3:23pm So,,,, let me get this straight. No one here wants Congress to make a law that establishes a religion or to prohibit anyone's free exercise of religion. Seems simple enough. Until someone pipes up and wants laws that do exactly that.
WE THE PEOPLE Are our government and an opinion of one or a million can not undo the GOD given right to INCLUDE religion in OUR American fabric of life, liberty, pursuit of happiness and property.
This forum however is NOT congress. It is NOT the legislature and while debate should be open honest and civil, I believe it is the place of the site owners to make their house rules. Not the self appointed leaders of some of the most religious and prepared and or militant of these United States, or NOT.
But what do I know.
Permalink Reply by Orion Darkwood on May 10, 2012 at 5:49am I can speak for the others but I am not saying that religion can not be a part of American life, I am saying the government should not be a part of any religion discussion.
Permalink Reply by MoPatriot on May 11, 2012 at 12:50pm If there is no religious influences in our government then who gives us our life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? If it does not come from a supreme being then it has to come from the government and if it comes from the government, it can change as the as the whims of the people who are in power. I believe that is the problem we have with the government today!
Our founding fathers understood that these rights had to come not from men but from God, their view of God was that He did not change and therefore the rights could never change. I want my rights to be based upon absolutes and not the whims of men, where something that is right today will become wrong tomorrow, or something that is wrong today will become right tomorrow.
