Roy, thank you for this link. Anyone that has filled out paperwork on a firearm knows that there is a question that asks if you have ever been committed to a mental ward and if you have you can be turned down. Here we have yet another form of disarmament. The lawyer for the Rutherford Institute that is helping Brandon Raub has stated that his office has been swamped with calls from veterans and their families stating that people are indeed being detained under emergency detention under the pretense that they are mentally unbalanced. In fact we have a discussion here on WRAM about this. Needless to say I went on a google search just to see how many states and which states have emergency/civil detention laws and I found this:

EVERYONE needs to read this document. This was done by Johns Hopkins in conjunction with the CDC and applies to ALL states. The document was released June 2012.

Just a day after Brandon Raub was released following his incarceration in a psychiatric ward over political Facebook posts, news has emerged of a similar case involving a veteran who had his guns seized after being labeled a “mental defective’ and faces being committed by a judge.

Radio host Steve Quayle was sent news of an Army combat veteran and Purple Heart recipient in west central Ohio who was the victim of a police raid on the evening of August 22nd during which Miami County Ohio Sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant to seize the man’s firearms for the “safety of the defendant and the general public,” according to the warrant.

The veteran, who is currently unnamed, had his guns taken because he was adjudged to be mentally incompetent, despite the fact that his previous VA psychiatric evaluations were all clear, he is not on medication, and he had no criminal record. The man appears to be a respected member of the community – he works for a Christian company and his father is a police officer and a pastor.

There are rumors in some circles of a possible military coup around the time of the elections. Given this, one can understand why the powers that be may be acting as they are at the present time. Very disturbing to say the least.

In one of the initial news reports they had quotes from his text which said something to the effect that swords would be drawn and heads would come off(I'm paraphrasing). Didn't see those words in the facebook text which means someone is either editing the words in or out. If they were in there originally, it is understandable why the powers that be would act given the recent slate of mass shootings. On the other hand , they could have been responsible for their insertion which would give them license to take liberties with this individual in terms of detainment etc.(at least from their perspective) as well as to discredit the patriot movement.
