The americannationalmilitia.com site that 'Takeitback' posted is Drakes website. That is where the green light notification is supposed to be posted later.

2 fighter jets just flew over my house for the second time today...a rarity for us!

I live less than 5 miles away from an AF Base, strangely enough the skies have been really quiet the past 2 days. This morning I did hear 2 jets fly over but, that has been the only action for 2 whole days now. There are usually planes overhead all day long and every now and then at night. My elderly neighbor (as well as my mom who lives about 2 miles away) also commented on the lack of activity when I spoke to her this morning, so I am not the only one in my area to notice this.

I heard from a friend of mine that there has been A LOT of activity in norther Michigan (Alpena) his sister lives up and there is a CRTC up there...I definitely think somethings going down...as to what that might be, I guess we shall see.

Very interesting Laurie! Please keep us updated if you hear anything else from your friend. I'll keep my eyes on the military installations in and around San Antonio and will report back here if something comes up.

My brother-in-law was over last night, he is a Sgt. in the Army and stationed here in S.A. at Ft. Sam. He didn't mention anything to us about anything going down but, I didn't ask. He really doesn't like to talk much about what is going on at work.

Rikki, we just went out to Ft Sam this morning, and everything is business as usual. We just showed our I.D.s at the gate but that's standard. We passed another gate on our way in, and it was open too. There's nothing unusual going on here,and we live near Randolph AFB North east of Ft Sam in the suburbs, and it's business as usual there. WE went to Randolph first before going out to Ft Sam, to get my husband's prescription filled at the off site pharmacy in the BS comoplex, and our air craft were flying this morning too. If something was weird at our local bases, Ft Sam, Camp Bullis, Lackland AFB or Randolph; believe me it would be perfecly noticeable.

This bovine TB stuff has kept alot of Alpena people on guard/edge the past week or so. Can't see it effecting military other than fresh food stuffs. (Fresh milk etc.) http://wtvbam.com/news/articles/2012/jun/25/bovine-tuberculosis-con...

What, so you dug around on the internet to try to find info on Alpena and this was all you could come up with?? Take a ride up there yourself if you want to know the truth. Contact Bob Powell, an independent journalist who lives up there, ask him.

You are very condescending and your comments reflect that all over this site.

Actually, I did look on the internet for Alpena Michigan news. Then I asked around at my local farmer's co-op if there was anything they were hearing nationally about the northern Michigan area. That is when the bovine information began to peek my attention. I offered my previous post only as what I saw as added information. I certainly did not mean it in any condescending manner and am surprised that it was taken that way.
