July 4th
Congratulations my fellow Americans, we have made it to another 4th of July. How many more we will have after this depends upon us. I urge you to take this opportunity to reflect on the history of our founding. Much can be learned by understanding the why and how of our founding history. Because our founding fathers held such a high regard for Divine Providence they were willing to give everything of themselves for this country. This is reflected in the Constitution and other founding documents. The founders letters to one another will make it clear to what they had in their hearts and minds.
This 4th instead of making the holiday solely about fireworks and BBQs, take the time to do something as simple as toasting to our Founders and giving thanks to God for our many blessings. After the 4th is over my hope is that each and everyone of you will make an effort to not only prepare yourselves and your families but to make a difference every day. A difference that will change the hearts and minds of our fellow Americans. Now more than ever we need action not lip service, remember to educate yourselves, educate others, give of yourself to help others and dig deep inside for the same passion that our Founding Fathers had.

As an older Disabled Veteran that served this country with pride and looked forward to retiring and enjoying the later years of my life, I find myself sad at a time when I should be getting ready to celebrate the Birthday of a great country.
Sad because I fear that the country that I and so many others served so proudly has suffered a slow and silent death, because we all fail to live up to our responsibility and duty to protect her as we promised. We stopped to play and enjoy life and she slipped away as we all stood by and watched because we were to busy living to pay attention to what was happening around us.
Now I fear our children will have to fight to restore her to the glory we all remember.
It is hard to celebrate the birth , when our country is facing such a sad and shameful death.

I agree totally with you both! BUT......BUT, heres the deal. Everyones doing their thing, as usual, we get a bunch of politicians in.....that aren't what they say they are. When everybodys got their back turned they start. The low life scum.....and they know who they are and its not just one person Its all the politicians, everyone doing a little, behind closed doors.
Well, after they have to answer to the tribunal, and since this is gonna be counted as the shakedown cruise, we need to make sure the loopholes are covered so this shit doesn't happen to the generations in the future.
Yes, some inaction from the American people was at fault, but the politicians are to blame. After all, we the people didn't get the deficit to what, 7 TRILLION????? And the wars are 1/2 that?????? Did these ASSES not take Economics????? Uh, if they can't balance their own checkbooks....they shouldn't be jacking around with the countrys!!!!!!
In other words, we've been mis-managed! And sold down the river. Yep, I'm gonna be takin' some Tums On the 4th!
