Yes. Capitalism and socialism come from the same school of thought.

If you use intellectual superiority to profit off anthers labour more than you labour yourself, then you are a good business man and a good capitalist.

If you demand in the name of (God, righteousness, etc.) that the labour of a man be taken from him to give to another less fortunate than he, then you are a saint and a good socialist.

Both are avenues to take from those who labour. We need FAIR TRADE system. Very similar to a republic but on economic terms. Free trade with guaranteed rights....not regulations.

NAFTA and GATT have done a great deal to destroy our economy. Bush and Clinton both sold us out on this issue.

NAFTA came from the Council on Foreign Relations think tank. the CFR was created and is still controlled by the Rockefeller family. That family has profited immensely off of importing produce from South America and all but destroyed our agricultural industry. But alls that matters to them is that their fat pockets got a little fatter. Oh yea, Dick Cheney was the director on the CFR board for years before he became VP and while he worked for Haliburton.And people wonder why we import so much oil.

yeh and the new urban laws will remove the constraints for farmers to come to their own aid as they loses their welfare.

The American ag industry is alive, healthy, and large in the form of Monsanto, Archer Daniels Midland, and other huge conglomerates. The family farm is being squeezed out by corporate welfare and government intervention. When Soros has total control of all farming our nation will begn to starve to death as they have in numerous other countries. Healthy is not always as healthy as it seems to be. I have seen people with cancer look very healthy until one day they are dead.

My guess is that awhile back, a couple of old farmers incorporated and got the needed CAPITAL to start shreading their customer's cheese, and lettus, and carrots, and etc. etc. etc. They put it in pretty little containers that disguised the natural beauty and the ugliness of real farm life for all their new squeemish customers. Then they used more capital to buy refer trucks to transport to all their new lazy customers. And then and then and then,,,,, But, there's still the good ol' American farmer's markets and local co-ops for those who aren't too lazy to get off their asses on sarurday morninmgs to go shop. It's up to you and I. not some "they" to blame it on. We can be alive and healthy and even growing but it's up to us.
Wanna produce? Wanna take the risks and do the hard work,,, the REAL work? Or just consume and blame others?

Indeed. I too have seen good folks die of cancer one day while it seemed a week earlier they were happily spreading their favorite chemical fertiliizers in their gardens rather than till and cultivate the good earth's nutriens given them freely. Sad that they knew the risks yet still chose to take them freely?
