Mitt Romney the "best choice"???
Maybe I'm a little behind the times, but learned today that Romney PERMANENTLY banned all assault-style weapons in Massachusetts when he was Governor there. Wonder what he'll do if he becomes President? Food for thought.....

Governor Mitt Romney has signed into law a permanent assault weapons ban that he says will make it harder for criminals to get their hands on these guns.
Deadly assault weapons have no place in Massachusetts, Romney said, at a bill signing ceremony on July 1 with legislators, sportsmen's groups and gun safety advocates. These guns are not made for recreation or self-defense. They are instruments of destruction with the sole purpose of hunting down and killing people.
Like the federal assault weapons ban, the state ban, put in place in 1998, was scheduled to expire in September. The new law ensures these deadly weapons, including AK-47s, UZIs and Mac-10 rifles, are permanently prohibited in Massachusetts no matter what happens on the federal level.
We are pleased to mark an important victory in the fight against crime, said Lieutenant Governor Kerry Healey. The most important job of state government is ensuring public safety. Governor Romney and I are determined to do whatever it takes to stop the flood of dangerous weapons into our cities and towns and to make Massachusetts safer for law-abiding citizens.
The new law also makes a number of improvements to the current gun licensing system...

After 30 years of public service and going over Ron Paul's record with a fine toothed comb, if this is important enough to have an affect on all of the problems we have today and will have tomorrow, I don't see it.
How can what is mentioned in this article compare with, even some of the more minor things, that Obama and Romney have said and done?

How do you fix stupid? Ron Paul is the one guy that will do the job. All the others will send us into slavery or worst to war to regain our freedoms. Not a dime,s worth of difference between Obama and Romney. Still slavery to big world government!

Greg you are a ok in my book but lets face one thing here the policy of sticking our nose into other countries affairs has done us no good. In fact it has made us more enemies through out the world.
Now Ron Paul is not an isolationist. He like most sane people want a real reason for sending our children off to a now win war other than supporting the UN agenda like we have been doing for the last 50 years and internationalist banker interest. George Washington warned us about this. I am so tired of seeing our kids come home in body bags and for what reason?
Rome fell because of this we are doing the same thing as well. TIME TO TAKE CARE OF THE HOME FRONT, Let the rest of the world take care of itself!
