What worries me is according to this the Oathkeepers have joined up with the Wayseers (which IMHO sounds very New Age to me)  - OathKeeps and WaySeers support OWS

Orion,, this isnt about ideology,, its about freedom and not everyone will see it just one way!! If we are to be free then others have to be able to be free to choose as we do!! If not then we all are not free!

Has anyone read the preamble to the Declaration of the Occupation of Wall Street?

As one people, united, we acknowledge the reality: that the future of the human race requires the cooperation of its members; that our system must protect our rights, and upon corruption of that system, it is up to the individuals to protect their own rights, and those of their neighbors; that a democratic government derives its just power from the people, but corporations do not seek consent to extract wealth from the people and the Earth; and that no true democracy is attainable when the process is determined by economic power. We come to you at a time when corporations, which place profit over people, self-interest over justice, and oppression over equality, run our governments. We have peaceably assembled here, as is our right, to let these facts be known.

It seems to me that this is the voice of people struggling under the grip of bad government. What is it exactly that makes people rant about leftist marxism? Dude, the reason they want our rights is to take everything from us and sell it. It's true, America is being shoveled into private bank accounts every day by a financial elite which considers itself above the Rule of Law.

My first loyalty is to the Constitution, my second is to the People. I personally don't see the Wall Street Occupation protests as anything but We The People demonstrating for their God-given rights. I see no commie eco-terrorist zombies here....

Nice post, Bobby. It gets back to the age old tendency as wanting to paint everything with a broad brush. Whether its Republicans saying ALL democrats are bad or democrats saying ALL republicans are bad . . . its simply EXTREME elements wishing to make out everything to be extreme of one variety or another. Barack Obama or George W. Bush is the anti-christ etc. It gets old and is very trying, but this is generally the climate that a small minority wish to promote. And sadly this extreme rhetoric has given the time of day in our mainstream media for quite a while . . . the purpose . . . to keep the people divided along lines that are by and large nonsensical when you view the larger picture . . . and that is the stranglehold that the top 1% have put the rest of us under.

I AM an Oathkeeper,From the Tennessee group. Oathkeepers has not changed it's mission statement and has NOT ALLIED ITSELF with the WAYSEERS in any way shape or form. If they are united it's RECENT news to me. If I wanted to check the report I would GO TO THE OATHKEEPERS SITE. JMO!!

Clarification of the "Occupy the Fed" mission and How Oath Keepers Is NOT Allied With Wayseers


SPECIAL NOTE FROM STEWART RHODES:

I have been traveling to the open carry rally in Kentucky, but I now want to clarify a few things :



First of all, there is no "alliance" between Oath Keepers and the Wayseers org. Our website editor, Elias, got a bit carried away because he liked the Wayseers video, and his initial post about our "Occupy the FED" effort (see http://www.occupythefednow.com) inaccurately came across as though there was now some such alliance, but that is not the case.



Our Occupy the Fed effort is an Oath Keepers led project that is being carried out with the assistance of a team of volunteers from other organizations, including:



Bryce Shonka, of the Tenth Amendment Center. http://www.tenthamendmentcenter.com

Steven Vincent, Founder of End The Fed. http://endthefedusa.ning.com/

Gary Franchi, Founder of Restore the Republic. http://www.rtr.org

Bob Dwyer, Boston Tea Party organizer and leader of Massachusetts Liberty Preservation Association. http://www.masslpa.org/

Danny Panzella, leader of Truth Squad. http://www.truthsquad.tv.

Brandon Smith, Founder of the Alternative Market Project. http://www.alt-market.com

Each of the above has been given posting powers over at the Occupy the Fed website we have set up for that effort, http://www.occupythefed.com. And that does not mean we are now joined at the hip with all those orgs either. It just means we are working together on this project to try to steer mass attention toward protesting the damnable Federal Reserve.



So what's the deal with Garret Loporto then, you ask? Well, Garret Loporto, of Wayseers, also volunteered to help since he is in Boston, and has become a "leader" of the Occupy Boston protests, and has already been redirecting those protesters toward the Fed there in Boston. And that is all he was, a volunteer offering to help us, just like the others. I put him in touch with Bob Dwyer there in Boston so they could coordinate. And we also added him to the list of volunteers over at our Occupy the Fed website (but see below, as we are retracting that). But from the start Loporto was, at most, just one of many volunteers who wanted to help that effort. We are not getting married, and there is no formal alliance between Oath Keepers and Loporto and Wayseers.



Nor is Oath Keepers going down some "occult" path, as some breathless posts on the internet have claimed. In case anyone is interested, I personally attend Chuck Baldwin's Liberty Fellowship each Sunday in Kalispell, Montana, and I have no plans to change churches. So please everyone, take a deep breath and chill. Thank you.

I know Elias' initial post came across like we had all become Wayseers, but that was only because he was personally impressed with Loporto's video and book, and he got a bit carried away in his post.



2. Mr. Loporto is not going to even be listed as a volunteer at Occupy the Fed. There have been some legitimate concerns expressed about even having Mr. Loporto serve as a volunteer in that joint effort over at Occupy the Fed. Some have expressed concerns about his movement, and others have expressed concerns about his political past. We will look into both.



Because of those concerns, and because of questions I and other members of our National Board have, until we can get some conclusive answers to the questions being raised about him, we are not going to even be listing Mr. Loporto as a volunteer over at that site, and we will not be using him as a volunteer in our efforts. If Bob Dwyer, as leader of Mass LPA, wants to continue to coordinate with him in Boston, when it comes to steering those protesters toward protesting the Fed, that's up to him. He can do what he wants with his own org, of course. But at the national level, and on our Occupy the Fed site, we will not - not unless and until I get some answers to my questions and even then, only with a vote of our National Board of Directors.

I don't.  There are people who I know (who own a little family owned Italian resturant) both they and their workers have been threatened because they aren't bowing down to the union backed thugs who are rushing in to empty out their poop bags in their establishment.  Already, their business has gone down to 40%.

Its funny that these protesters who some day will be working or in charge of some corporation remind me of the anti war movement of the 60's and 70's and those folks are in positions of power today but they are behind the scenes. The likes of bill airs(?) obummers mentor and the likes of him have some form of influence over our dirty no good politicans along with the greedy bastards from the oil companies and the list can go on for ever. Don't hear much about the Oathkeepers so I will remain neutral on that group. This bunch of cry babies who want their college loans wiped out should go in the service for 5 yrs and after that their loans are paid off oops probably 99% of them would be crying for rich mommy and daddy come get me. I feel that any good American group that stands with these spoiled brats are making a mistake greed has been around since the caveman so get over it there is nothing anyone can do about it, as the saying goes GET RICH or DIE TRYING

From the time Jimmy-The Peanut- Carter Placed the education system of this country unde the fed-Govn,You've had unions and Marx'st/Communist/Socialist teachers,Prof's and Admn's in charge of teaching your children with THEIR SUBJECT MATTER!! Now tell me,JUST WHAT DO YOU EXPECT? I have been running my mouth for over 30yrs about this to know avail. Y'all Paid for it,Now Ya got it. What are ya gonna do about it? My Opinion, Take Back the education from the Fed's and once again place it under the states control useing the 10th Amend. Anybody got any Balls to start the ball rolling? Theirs org.'s out there already in place to start pushing this,but again they are not intrested in picking up the subject and running with it. So,what you have in reality is a bunch of NON-Educated, Dope smoken,fornacating in the street Brats wanting to bring down Capitialism and wall street,and wipe out mom and dad's retirement even more than the socialist Democrats have already. Big oil ain't the problem pilgram IT'S THE GOVERNMENT!!! Yep, your right, these kids are the future of this country sorry to say.
