The American People always retain the right to throw off any form of Government that becomes destructive to their prosperity and their rights!! All one has to do is read the Declaration of Independence!!

So agree. People fail to remember that the Declaration of Independence is this countries FIRST founding document. This document came before the Articles of Confederation and the current Constitution. It also states "That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it", So with that said, look at our so called "Representative Government" and we all should agree it is time to toss all elected officials and hit the restart button.

What the hell do yall think this goverments doing now? They sure ain't singing amazing grace and holding our hands. They are taking our rights away everyday. Lets keep looking at the 2nd admendment and read it over and over till were blue in the face. It just like the man who reads the bible through and through and he knows every word for word. If he just does that and never acts on it. It will never do him any good at all. Words are words, but they cannott talk they cannot walk, but we can.

James your asking the wrong people that Question!! That is the reason we all are here!! I do understand the frusration of getting people to organize their Militia units though!! We do seem to have more talkers than walkers!! Lot of the tuff talk to!! Not good at all! Meetups and FTX are really low in turnout!! I know some are having it tuff making ends meet and cant afford the gas to get to them,, then there is the fear that keep people away!! I can understand not having the expenses to go,, but i will never understand the fear!! Then ya got those wanna be generals out there with egos bigger than the moon!! Others spreading rumors about others so nobody will attend their meetups or FTX!! Its a real mess! The only fear i have is watching these Patriots be their own demise!! I know what the answer is but getting others to listen is like pulling your own teeth with pliers and no pain killer!!

Maybe the reason it's hard to get members is the talk. We talk a lot but what do we do? Actions speak louder than words. We talk about the Constitution but we let them erode one thing at a time, you don't have to break all the laws to be arrested you only have to break one. The Constitution was written in plain, easy to understand English, doesn't take a genius to understand it. The problem is it's easy to talk about it, it's take guts to do something. I am not a great writer, I am not a Thomas Jefferson, but I know enough to know we are letting this country fall and all we do is talk.

I so agree. I agree with what a most are saying on this posting, specially what Minuteman said above. We have a lot of big talkers yet when the time comes on actually backing the talk up, they are know where to be found. As a militia leader I come across a bunch of "patriots" that claim to want to get involved, but once you even mention an FTX all conversations seem to evaporate. Everyone knows the problem we have in this country, but know one wants to act out on their true feelings. In my opinion this is due to fears they would either act alone ending up as a martyr, or they simply want someone else to do the hard work for them. There are doers and there are watchers in this world. Sadly most patriots are watchers, or in my honest opinion, cowards. It takes courage to actually stand in the face of danger which most patriots refuse to actually do. Take for example the State rallies we attempted nation wide last year. There were 100's of people that talked big saying they would be at their state capitals for the rally, yet almost none showed. I am a firm believer that if you say you're going to do something, you better damn well do it no ands ifs or buts. It is simple honor and integrity, and most Americans today lack these two things.

Well said Recon,, ive noticed also the moment that something big gets planned for a great event we have the ones who are always trying to knock them down by screaming the feds are going to get us!! Or the rumors that the ones planning the event is a fed and is going to get them!! Pride issues and fear are the biggest killers we have to deal with!! Im not trashing the ones who just dont have the time or funds to attend these events!! They would be at them if they could!! Thats why if your in those shoes see if anyone that is attending a event is going to be able to pick up a brother or sister that needs the ride!! Do the buddy up thing to save the expenses!! To the trash talkers,,, well they are cowards and if they act like that now,, just what will they do when it really gets tuff! I hope Patriots start asking themselves these questions now rather when it really counts!! If those trash talkers will stab fellow patriots in the back now then it should be clear that they will do anything to get out of a tuff spot when the moment of truth comes down!! I like others have experienced betrayal and you can bet im making my list!! Some of the closest people to me that i trusted used that trust to betray me!! You can bet they will claim that they were right in what they did to only to attempt to cover their shame!! But nothing can cover up backbitting and the underhanded ways that they done things!! If they were so rightous for their actions then why did they go behind the back of their brother that trusted them so well?? If they were rightous they would have been upfront with ya and dealt with it with honor and not shame!! Watch those pretty words patriots,, not everyone out there is what they portray themselves to be!! The attempted take over of the WRAM site taught me and others a lot about some that people think are good Patriots!! They are dishonorable people looking for some fame,, dont be fooled by their lies either,, let their actions show you just who they are!! Betrayal is dishonor and should never be accepted among us!!

Another problem I've recently run into, is a militia leader who is in denial himself about the obvious effects of the NDAA! Yeah, and he also showed zero responsibility for his units' members under his command, when he is responsible for their welfare just the same as a miltary officer or NCO is. He denied this responsibility. This guy surprised all of us in the unit. I'm convinced now that he was there for purposes other than being the unit leader. I won't spell that out; I'm sure you know. Anyways, many of us resigned because this guy is useless as a leader. When we told this guy that, considering the political climate, that we, the unit, wanted a designated rally point for the unit and a password for that day when the SHTF. He didn't want to consider that! And there's other really weird stuff that came from this guy. He kept his attitudes disguised for over a year, then, bang, out they came.
Needless to say, those of use who resigned, and that's most everyone, are going to start our own militia unit.
Just pointing out another problem the militias are having.

I am not putting anyone down, don't believe in it sorry. What I'm seeing is everyone wants to play Army. We talk about FTX's and training but only for a day or two than go home and wait to play again. Who wants to lose their job for a one or two day play around. When you enlist in the Army you go until your time is up, you don't go train for a day and then go home for a month. When we form real groups and say that is enough you'd be surprised the people who'll show up. When the revolution started they only had a few men, but when people saw they were serious they started to get the men they needed. People don't come to things when people aren't serious. Don't get me wrong I think training is serious business and needs done, but at what cost.
