I think of the Sign Above the Gates of Hell! That's where I see this country going. Abandon all hope. The country is going to go like Rome did. Too much Greed and corruption in our Government and the corporations. We have the best government that money can buy.

Reason I ask Bobby is to help get the group more functional in terms of organizing. And I do believe a number of people here(earlier) have responded as being Constitutionalists. Should have included that in my choice of answers. Apologies for not doing so.

 

Update---just added Constitutionalist as an option.

Neither Democrat nor Republican but Reasonable...  Registered Republican though so I can get Ron Paul in as well like the rest!  And also, wouldn't you think being a Constitutionalist would also make you a Libertarian by default?  Maybe vice versa as well.

That would be true Ken. most don't realize that when they use the name Libetard. The Democrats were and are historically considered the original Libertarians who were for a spokesman for farmers across the country, urban workers, and new immigrants. They are the oldest political party to date in the U.S.

The party today is just like the Republicans that have been co-opted by the Elite and are in no way working for the people.

Democrats have been taken over by communists, this is obvious to the most casual observer. They won't call themselves that but their agenda and policy clearly show this. Given our present system it is important that people who believe in the constitution take over the Repub party. Most of the time they do not do the right thing either as we saw with the last administration and that congress who expanded the size of the federal gov also. If we do not get people in gov who will actually make significant cuts in gov we will not last very long with the debt and deficit we have now. There is only one maybe two candidates who will push congress to make the cuts needed.

Actually the debt and deficit have been with us for a few decades now and we are still here. The budget was balanced briefly in the late 90s though, but 911 changed all that. As per he democrats, I would label them more socialist than communist. And as per Constitutionalists taking over the Republican Party, I doubt it will happen, unless the Tea Party can elect a lot of them.

I proudly call myself a Libetard then!  For the Liberties and Freedom our forefathers shed blood for.  But I'm sure you probably know as well as I do ETX that most don't think too much outside the box.  If you name yourself as a Republican or Democrat then someone may assume you have only one way of thinking.  Name yourself neither and your opinion usually gets stomped on by mainstream kool-aid drinkers.
