Travis,
Dont feel bad buddy. Ive done similar & still no one shows up. I do all I can to lead by example & being the Commander of my unit I expected some to follow suit. A couple did but many of the rest left our group. People can all talk the talk but no one wants to walk it & back their mouth up. I always hear "Well when shtf then we will be justified by confronting the wrongdoers". Well, s*** has already hit the fan. People are waiting until the very last minute when bullets start to fly or when troops are all over the place before they want to make a stand. It is pure cowardice if you ask me. I here bitching on every front & on every subject but no one will back it up & do anything about it. Last night I read parts of the Constitution again & the one part that justifies all of us over & over is where it says we not only have the right but also the duty to change or abolish a corrupt or tyrannical government. There is our justification right there. And if done jointly & the right way, it can be done without any bullets flying in either direction on any side. Oh yeah, people will join together to form groups or protests in order to talk or speak about it at a rally or something but when the gestapo comes to arrest them everyone starts running the other direction. Sure you may have a few that get slammed to the ground & arrested illegally but the majority are too coward to stand their ground. We will never change anything until we join together & everyone grabs some b@lls. Hell, borrow someone elses if you aint gone any. There are plenty of returning wounded warriors that cant fight with us due to using their b@lls for us & Im sure they would loan them out for such a good cause. We have all of these returning vets that have lost so much for what the government says is a good & just cause, fighting for someone elses freedom, & this is how we honor their sacrifices. We cant even stand together & fight for their freedom. It makes me sick to my stomach. I am a disabled vet myself & I am sickened by all of these people who want to rob the name by calling themselves a Patriot. A true Patriot in this country has the colors red, white & blue, not yellow like a coward. They cant arrest all of us. And if its done peacefully but firmly then we have nothing to be arrested for. I think people are waiting until the government gets on national tv & blatantly in front of everyone, takes out the constitution & rips it(literally) into small pieces. Well they have pretty much already done this, just not literally. The Constitution gives us the right & the duty to stand up & take charge. As it says, "We The People", not P.U.C. If anyone gets offended by what Ive said then all I have to say is "sometimes the truth hurts" & "if the shoe fits then wear it".

Travis, PUC stands for Patriot Unity Coalition. While you will never have true and complete unity at least you can have patriotic websites that support each other and not slam each other publicly on the internet and that all agree to the one common goal of liberty and freedom. Two years of hard work went into this project.

I am sorry that you threw a war and nobody showed up. However it has everything to do with how one conducts themselves. If you scream warmongering, conspiracy theories and anti-government rhetoric, people are going to run in the opposite direction. Not to mention getting the attention of local law enforcement. However if one educates themselves thoroughly on their states constitution as it relates to militia and then gets with their county sheriff and county officials and shows them this in black and white, and that it is a right, you will most likely gain their support. That is where alot of militias are failing...failure to communicate with their county officials and making them a part of things to help out the community and it's residents, and the message. I think Art. 1 of the National Militia Standards says it all. As long as the message is right, along with presentation, being thoroughly educated on the law, and be law abiding, there is no reason why this won't work. Another point....when the message is right and the people understand the true picture, they won't run the other way. They will want to get involved.

I was not aiming my response to you nor was I passing judgement. We too, Minuteman and myself have been very active in this movement for well over 20 years. So we too have paid our dues. Over these 20 plus years we have taken close note to what works and what doesn't work. It boils down to what is done at the local level, staying educated and law abiding, and yes working with leo's and county officials. All these years the message has been wrong. Time to put the old approach away and to replace it with the new. Does it work? Yes, we have successfully gotton the endorsement to build and recruit a legitimate law abiding constitutional militia here in our county to not only help the sheriff and county officials but also to help the community we live in. As far as sacrifices, you have no idea what we have sacrificed in the past and also what we sacrifice on a daily basis. This website was set up as a tool for militias to come together, share ideas and information and to help build law abiding constitutional militias nationwide. While we do get support from the members here occasionally, most of the burden to keep this website up and running falls primarily on us.....and it is not cheap. We are not complaining, we do this for the benefit of all patriots here. Sorry you feel that this site does not benefit you sir and that all the hard work and forward movement is in vain.

I dont Travis was trying to incite anyone to do anything rash & I know I waasnt either. Quite the contrary. As you stated the old is not working, its time for the new approach. The problem still lies with those who want to gripe about the problem but still do nothing to help us fix it. This site is great & all the work put into it is truly appreciated by all of us here or we would not be here. I know what I am trying to say & I think Travis is as well, is that instead of griping about it, we all need to join together & do it the right way as you & MM have done or else it will lead to more drastic measures which we can see already not many will help with either. It is time to do what the Constitution binds us to doing, but in a civil & legal way. Whether Travis started a war or it was just a figurative story, it still means that even when we have a plan, whatever that may be, not many will take the time to help but sure will take the time to complain. I have been in this game all of my adult life & I have seen the movement grow & then die down shortly after, more than once as Im sure many on here have seen this too. We must keep it from dying down again as it always does. If we dont keep it alive then we will all suffer in the long run. What you & MM have done is wonderful & I commend you both. I think we all have made many sacrifices in this endeavor & it should never be trampled upon. Sometimes I think we get on here & write things when we are mad & upset & the words sometimes come out wrong or they are in the stressed into the wrong context & then someone gets offended. Yes, we need to do this the right way & as I said in my earlier post we can do this peacefully without any bullets flying. Your way is working in Texas because your State Constitution allows these actions. But some states do not. Kentucky for example only speaks of the "Organized Militia", not the "Unorganized Militia". Although the U.S. Constitution does override any of the State's, there are still some fine lines there. In some states there may need to be another approach. Im sure that will vary with each each state. But regardless it should be done United & not by one entity. The problem, as I am trying to get across is the lack of true Patriotism among individuals & groups that wont even help to do it the right way. They talk it but then wont show up. The majority as I stated are too coward to even put their names out there to help us fight this injustice. And as I stated even if there are arrests, they cant arrest us all & if we are legal then there is no legal basis for arrest. I think Travis will agree that this is the whole point we are both trying to make. Its time to take a stand as you all have done, but it does need to be legal & peaceful, at least until peace no longer can be achieved.

Thank you James....very well said and believe me I totally understand what you are saying. It is true that in some states what we have accomplished here can't be done there in that state because of what their state's constitution has outlined in regards to militia. That's why I continually emphasize that one needs to educate themselves thoroughly so that they will know what will work in their state and local area. Yes I get very frustrated too at times...sometimes it seems like we take two steps ahead and then three back. Some of the problems the militias had back in the 90's are still with us today....fortunately some people took note of past problems and are trying to change that, however there are some unfortunately that continually want to go down that same path.

Thank you Travis, well said. I wish we could have a traveling team also as I think it would greatly benefit us all. What we all have to figure out is what works the best in your area. What works here in our county may not work somewhere else. I still think working at the county level then working up from there is going to be the thing to do whatever that may entail for that particular area. By the way, you do have some really good ideas.............

I agree...I had to stop and think about this a bit. The point I'm trying to make is, if one or more units have to evac an area due to contagions, nuclear contamination, or any other myriad reasons, I think it would be invaluable to the units as a whole if they were familiar with the training and comms protocols, as well as the cultural and customs aspects involved. If a unit has to bug out, they will need somewhere to go that affords security and resupply. The more familiar we are with the diverse differences associated with the geographical seperation nationally, the more chances we have of successfully integrating into another unit. This knowledge would also serve the purpose of everyone equipping each individual unit in weapons and critical gear as close to the other as possible. This will serve a multi-tierd function. Weapons, ammo, comms gear, batteries, medical supplies, etc...If a unit here in Texas is closely equipped to one in Arkansas or Louisiana, or even New Mexico, et al...the better chance they have of supplying spare parts and cross referencing in training, repair, etc...If you have 3 units that are rocking AK's, SKS's, and various other types of bolt actions, like Mosin Nagants, Mausers, etc... and another three member team that all have AR's and one of the weapons goes down, we need to develop a weapons and gear sustainability program. The list goes on, but you get the jist...

Well said Travis...we should all be thinking about the things you have mentioned here, and you're right the list does go on and on.
