WRAM - We dedicate our hearts, minds and bodies to protecting our great Republic!
With only 276 members on the Facebook WRAM 'Page,' if everybody there invited all of their friends and they enlisted, we'd have 118,910 members! Just think how we could grow our membership if everybody on the MAIN WRAM website were to join us and do the same. If you have a Facebook profile and you haven't found the page, CLICK HERE, then login. Next, please click on the 'Suggest Page To Friends' button on the upper right to invite them. Once you click on it, give it a few moments to load your friends' profiles, then you can invite all of them. Each time you invite 50 friends, let the page reload and invite 50 more until you have invited them all. It won't take long to do.
We're not asking you to spend a lot of time on Fakebook, just help us recruit from the page we have there. That is the purpose of the page, nothing else. You will also notice once you are on the page, that we have an RSS feed installed which feeds discussions from the main website.

Permalink Reply by Regulator, WRAM Recruiter on July 27, 2012 at 9:25am We've now got over 700 members on our Facebook 'Page' now, and our membership is consistently growing. But we must continue to to what we've been doing to get more people aboard.

Permalink Reply by Regulator, WRAM Recruiter on July 27, 2012 at 9:28am Your problem is that you can only see the negatives. I get so sick and tire of naysayers, yourself included. You're either part of the solution or you're part of the problem, and from my perspective, you fit the latter category. The trolls we get are a small percentage of the whole & they can be dealt with, with a click of the button. If you can't do anything but be negative, you can be taken care of with the click of a button also.

Permalink Reply by fidsquid on July 27, 2012 at 2:49pm Regulator, love the idea. The Facebook friends I have are mostly Family and highly unlikely to join. They are more likely to reject me as some "Veteran gone extremist nutcase."
I am currently working on forming a unit, starting with a neighbor who reached out on the USM site and maybe two others very near by. We shall see. I need more than keyboard commandos and in honesty as a Logistics unit we need to be as ready to fill sandbags and bear stretchers as lock and load. I see a lot of emphasis on Squad-level Fireteam training and ops, pretty much nothing on what to do the month after BOB got grabbed, and less on what happens to those the field medic has patched up.
Not against using what electronic means available to increase numbers, but I have to look at who I'd be inviting. Old fashioned face-to-face for me for now. Wish you luck though.

Permalink Reply by fidsquid on July 30, 2012 at 3:12pm Magnus, so far I've seen stuff on a forum here from last year Community Service Group I believe, and over on USM, things were mentioned like 2010, then died out. I put out a post over there (USM) to get folks thinking, but no concrete responses.
I'd like to put together a Logistics unit, dealing with all you mentioned and then some. It's not like such a unit would have a hard time trying out procedures with Florida hosting hurricanes and Georgia good at having big wildfires. I think a unit like that, showing up to work on sandbags, or just set up rest stations for firefighters taking pressure off Red Cross, would leave local folks with a good impression of militia as neighbors and helpers.
I'm starting off with what little I have, and with dumpster diver ingenuity I can make. We'll see how far I can take it before the next Tropical Storm comes calling.

Here's the latest about Adam Kokesh' armed march on Washington DC, designed to demonstrate that we will not give up our guns. I listened to that interview and he makes a lot of sense. The guy fought in Fallujah so he obviously is no coward. And…Continue

Adam Kokesh is promoting an armed march on Washington DC to demonstrate that we will not give up our guns. I just don't know about that, itseems very risky and could backfire. All you need is one agent provocateur who fires a shot and it could go…Continue
