Here in Georgia HB 26 is currently under consideration. You can go to http://www.georgiacarry.org/cms/current-bills/
and see what it entails. Main point of consideration is it bans ANYONE from confiscating firearms in the event of an emergency. After what happened in New Orleans after Katrina this is a vital piece of legislation the everyone should push for in their own state.

Permalink Reply by Kenneth David Johns on February 26, 2012 at 8:40pm There are 31 states that already have this law, or it's equivalent, on the books (I may be off by a few states) so check the law for your particular state. After the Katrina debacle this was a hot topic and there were drives in many states to see that it never happened again. Even federal efforts to stop this were sought. Here in Georgia it is already illegal for any state official or LEO to confiscate guns EXCEPT the governor if there is an emergency declared. HB 26 will take that power away from not only the governor but all federal agents as well. I'm not saying this is being done because of a real fear on the part of legislators that this might be in the works, but, given he current political situation in America, it's entirely possible that our politicians are becoming afraid of what our government has planned for us.

Adam Kokesh is promoting an armed march on Washington DC to demonstrate that we will not give up our guns. I just don't know about that, itseems very risky and could backfire. All you need is one agent provocateur who fires a shot and it could go…Continue
