WE GOT OVER RUN BY RUSSIAN TANKS,LIGHT FOOT SOLDIERS HAVE LITTLE CHANCE WITH A TANK.A BOTTLE WITH
GASOLINE ,MAY STOP A TANK,BUT AND It's A BIG BUT,YOU GOT TO GET CLOSE,BAD IDEA .LET THE TANK GO
BY AND WAIT FOR THERE SUPPORT.HIT AND GET OUT OF THE AREA AS FAST AS YOU CAN.
REMEMBER
TAKING ON A TANK WITH ONLY A RIFLE ,IS LIKE TAKING ON A TIGER WITH A STICK. GOOD LUCK

Not always true. There comes a time in our picks of Domunation or Freedom were we must do something, anything to slow the enemy and in doing so we will sometimes know right out front that we are not likely to come out on the winning side of the battle. Still, we do what we must so that our family and friends might continue to live.
If that means taking on one or more tanks, then that is what must be done. That does not mean that you can do the job better with a good level of smarts and proper planing. You must at least pick the best site for this Unwinnable Battle. What matters in the long run with be tomorrow and whether your loss will help your loved ones to continue to live and fight the war that you gave your lives for.

This war we shall not start. We must do everything within our power when we fight any and all fights. It takes smarts and remember this word, Location.

You have a point. Now there comes a time when we must do all that we can do in order to slow or even stop the enemy. No where in the history of war will you likely read where a battle was eazy. The reasons you are taking on one or more tanks is for freedom. No one said that there would bo only rifles in the fight. Then there is the eliment of surprise.
\The thing is you do everything in your power sometimes to stop the enemy. Even if it means giving up your life, if it means your loved ones continues to live.
Now for the fight with the Tiger. Your stick can become a spear. The only thing stopping us most times is a brain that is working with us and not against us. You can't always pick your fight, but maybe you can pick the location and we have all heard the words, 'Locaqaqtion, Location, Location.'
We will not always have a choice in fights. With enough time and the proper tools, anything is possable, including a tank trap You dig a pit if possable and you cover it over so that it is less likely to be seen. The point is this. We do not always have a choice. And life does come to an end and if we must give our lives so that others might live. They will call us Heros.

Would it be possible to use an RC model airplane as an interceptor, fly up and ram the drone?

RC planes have been flown up to 20,000 feet.

Right on your inspiration will go along way.
Hopefully we will have munitions by the time tanks start rolling in our OP's.
My Drill Sergeant jumped with 82nd Airborne in Desert Storm. He told stories about jumping on enemy tanks and dropping grenades in the hatch. Said it was a felling like nothing eles.

Breaking track would be the way to go because support fire can be maintained on people exiting the tank. The tank may call in for support and that would be even better because they are useing resource.

Tanks hold IED's. IED's to take out more track vehicles. If we have Intel on possible routes we could use terrain to our advantage.
I've seen more then a couple burnt up Abrams in Baghdad. It can be done.

I did say one thing that was wrong when I said what I did about breaking a track by putting a rock in the path of a Roadwheel. It would depend on the size of the rock. It could help in throwing a track. By getting something hard to stick in the final drive wheel at the very back of the track could break the track. Depending on what you used.
If you have a rocket launcher then you try taking out the tanks power plant by firing your rocket at the rear doors of the tank. That will be where the exaust leaves the tank. A 50 Cal might do some damage to the engine or transmission.. I say, 'Might.'
