TEXAS STATE MILITIA DISBANDED. WHAT TO DO NOW?
I got word from 2LT Fitzer that the TV show fell through the floor, and that he was taking a 2 week time out from communications.
But before that happened, half the TSM south of Killeen split. And after that, trainings stopped. And after than, we got few if any communications from TSM leadership about what was going on, and whether we would still recruit.
But today, I just visited the www.texasstatemilitia.com website, and found a note from command that the TSM would no longer be accepting new members, and that the site would be shut down when it came up for renewal.
Since its obvious that the TSM was torn apart, the question is where to go from here?
I'm a member of The American Resistance Movement. I live in Waco. I dont have any combat experience, but have plenty of weapons training with the army, as well as D&C.
If anyone is interested in helping me put together a Militia in McLennan County helping recruit, please message me at monkeypuncher@rocketmail.com .
I will be resurrecting Task Force Remnant based in Waco, but will allow member ship in ALL bordering counties.
Our main priorities will be survival, urban warfare (MOUT), convoy operations and protecting high value assets as well as emergency medical treatment. All veterans and qualified personel can help train as CADRE. Our rules will be the same as the TSM, minus the requirements on dishonorable discharge, as long as you can still legally own a weapon.

Just asking, too bad, their Commander wouldn't even get back to me when he told me he would call me, so these folks lost my Vote.... I really didn't have all the gear and time and money that I would need to just participate at the level they wanted anyway.

I agree we all need to form independent fire teams all over the state. I don't doubt at all that Mr. Terry "Hollywood" Melton might have started the TSM just to make a TV show about the militia. I attended their January 2011 FTX by comfort, TX and the only thing Terry Melton did was video militiamen. If you check the ownership of the domain www.texasstatemilitia.com with any internet whois search engine you will see that it is owed by "Terry Melton PO Box 61359, Sunnyvale, CA"
We don't need any TV shows about the militia because they always try to vilify us.

I thinks its rediculous that some peoples' minds are so far gone, that they think people like me, Minuteman and others could be federal spies. 1. Charles trusts Minuteman. 2. I have advocated the nullification of the federal command structure. And 3. Informants dont hang around for 20 years, building militia structures and supporting innocent men in a kangaroo court.
