PATCON / Look Inside The FBI's Secret War With The Militia Movement

The common denominator in Fast and Furious and the Oklahoma City Bombing is Eric Holder.

Attorney General of the United States, Eric Holder, “managed an FBI operation that provided explosives to Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols just prior to the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah building in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995.

Allegations in the ongoing investigation by the Congressional Oversight Commitee of the Justice Department and the Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms Department’s botched “Fast and Furious” gun-tracking program. One of the allegations that stands out is that a Department of Justice covert project was designed to make it look like massive gun sales were being made to drug cartels in Mexico, so that the Obama administration could justify getting Congress to pass gun-control legislation in accordance with the President’s agenda. A gov. intel source that says a similar project was made up to influence legislation and government action against citizen militias. That source reports, the project resulted in the 1995 Oklahoma City Bombing.

The Oklahoma City Bombing was also a Justice Department project that went awry, that it got away from the government handlers, which resulted in the mass murder at the Murrah building in Oklahoma City.

Most undercover operations remain secret, especially if they do not result in prosecutions. PATCON stayed under wraps for nearly 15 years, until it was discovered in Freedom of Information Act requests. The account that follows is based on thousands of pages of FBI records on PATCON and the groups it targeted, as well as interviews with FBI agents who worked on the case, former FBI informants, and members of the targeted groups. The documents and interviews reveal important lessons for the modern use of undercover agents and informants.

PATCON had its origins in the investigation of Louis Beam, an infamous ideologue with connections to the original Order. "The Second Order," a newly revamped group that would stockpile money and weapons to fight a revolution against the federal government.

And to think that Attorney General Eric Holder is getting testy about congressional calls for his resignation. After all, Holder, and the Justice Department has nothing to hide, right?

Three Patriot groups were directly targeted by PATCON -- TLI, an Alabama organization called Civilian Material Assistance, and the Tennessee-based American Pistol and Rifle Association.

Half the targeted TLI "members" did not actually belong to the militia, according to former members and associates of the group. FBI agents said the targets were selected because of their relationship to Beam, who was seen as a gateway to the Idaho-based Aryan Nations, one of the nation's largest and most well-established white nationalist groups.

PATCON operatives rented an Austin-area safe house wired for audio and video, which they occupied with the informant Vince Reed, hoping to catch Beam and others saying something incriminating on tape, according to agents who worked with Reed.

In 1987, the government prosecuted him for sedition in connection with the group's activities, but he was acquitted and subsequently moved to the Austin, Texas, area. Hmmm...

Initially, the FBI targeted the TLI using an informant named Vince Reed, a Vietnam veteran who had successfully infiltrated the Hell's Angels on an earlier assignment. An undercover agent worked with Reed, posing as his gun dealer to strengthen his cover.

Reed reported hearing Beam's TLI friends talk about "The Second Order," a newly revamped group that would stockpile money and weapons to fight a revolution against the federal government.

The FBI wanted to know more. To enhance Reed's status and open a new channel of intelligence, an undercover operation was proposed. PATCON

Undercover FBI agents posing as white supremacists gathered alarming intelligence about the militia movement during the early 1990s, according to documents obtained by way of the Freedom Of Information Act.

But FBI headquarters claim they terminated the undercover operation -- code-named PATCON -- just three months after the FBI/ATF mass murder siege at the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas. Of course that is a lie, they just re-organized.

The timing could hardly have been worse; the networks targeted by the investigation were inflamed to violence by Waco. At least one individual targeted in the investigation -- Andreas Strassmeier -- was later linked to Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh. Another target of the investigation was later linked to Eric Rudolph, the FBI's phony perpetrator of the 1996 Olympic Park bombing.

PATCON was the centerpiece of an extensive investigation of militia and white supremacist groups in Arizona, Alabama, Tennessee and Texas.

From 1991 to 1993, at least three undercover agents working under the auspices of the FBI posed as members of a fictional white supremacist group seeking closer ties with established militia organizations.

The targeted groups "advocate violent overthrow of the U.S. government and the establishment of a Provisional Constitutional Government," according to the documents.

Starting some time in 1990, a parade of FBI informants from within the militia movement began talking to the FBI about planned activities by the TRM(Texas Reserve Militia)and other groups. In or around July 1990, a member of the Texas Reserve Militia threatened to murder two FBI agents with the Austin field office. Over the course of several months, the intelligence became alarming and expanded to include other militia groups around the country.

In March 1991, the FBI extended its investigation of the TRM into a undercover sting code-named "PATCON."
PATCON was a Group I Undercover Operation. According to Justice Department guidelines, Group I operations must be approved by FBI Headquarters and are used for investigation involving "sensitive circumstances" or significant financial investment.

"Sensititive circumstances" include investigating possible criminal misconduct or corruption by government employees, political and/or religious organizations. They may also describe optations "having a significant effect on or constituting a significant intrusion into the legitimate operation of a federal, state, or local governmental entity."

Group I undercover operations may involve "activity by an undercover employee that is proscribed by federal, state, or local law as a felony or that is otherwise a serious crime" and "activities that present a significant risk of violence, risk of financial loss, or a realistic potential for significant claims against the United States."

A member of the group Civilian Material Assistance, described but not named in the redacted documents released by the FBI, was Andreas Strassmeier, a German national who would later be linked to the Oklahoma City bombing.

The son of a prominent German politician and a veteran of that country's army, he moved to the United States from Hamburg in the late 1980s or early 1990s, and established relationships with various anti-government movements around the country. (US v Nichols, 96-CR-68, 12/10/97; In Bad Company, Hamm, pp. 116-117)

Members of the TRM suspected Strassmeier was a government informant, according to published reports. (McCurtain Gazette, FBI document links former Green Beret to McVeigh, bombing, Cash and Charles, Aug 31, 2005)

Shortly before the Oklahoma City bombing, an informant told the ATF Strassmeier was plotting to blow up U.S. federal buildings. The informant also said Strassmeier had traveled to Oklahoma City prior to the bombing.

Right after renting the Ryder truck used in the Oklahoma City bombing, Timothy McVeigh called the Elohim City compound and asked to speak with Strassmeier (US v Nichols). Another informant described at least one additional call (story and documents). After the bombing, Strassmeier fled the country and returned to Germany. The FBI interrogated Strassmeier by phone in May 1996, but agents did not ask him about his association with the TRM. Hmmmm...

In a 19-page affidavit filed in U.S. District Court in Salt Lake City, convicted Oklahoma City bombing conspirator Terry Lynn Nichols alleges that the bombing plot was actually under the supervision of top FBI officials.

Documents obtained by Salt Lake City attorney Jesse Trentadue in a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit show then Clinton Deputy Attorney General Eric Holder authorized members of the FBI to provide explosives to Oklahoma City bombing criminals Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols immediately prior to the April, 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah building.

Holder had authorized the FBI to provide the explosives to McVeigh and Nichols in conjunction with a Clinton Administration undercover operation named PATCON, an acronym for “Patriot Conspiracy.” As Jesse Trentadue describes it, “PATCON was designed to infiltrate and incite… militia[s] and evangelical Christians to violence so that the Department of Justice could crush them.”

Both Waco and Ruby Ridge are now known to have been PATCON inspired, Department of Justice plots.

Shortly after the Oklahoma City bombing, Holder instructed FBI agents to recover from Terry Nichols any remainder of the explosives the Bureau had provided him and McVeigh. To the chagrin of Eric Holder, the explosives were later discovered by another agency, complete with the fingerprints of Nichols, McVeigh and 2 FBI agents. Holder had reportedly offered Nichols respite from the death penalty for his cooperation in recovering the explosives. Obviously the Deputy Attorney General considered covering up his criminal complicity in the bombing eminently worth sparing Nichols just punishment for the murders of 168 innocent Americans.

Jesse Trentadue accidentally came across PATCON while investigating the murder of his brother Kenneth at the hands of the Clinton Department of Justice. An FBI informant familiar with the Oklahoma City bombing story, Kenneth was found hanged in his cell after having been jailed by the FBI. Though an official FBI report had listed Kenneth as a suicide, it was obvious that he had been severely beaten and his throat cut.

Upon Jesse taking the federal government to court, a federal judge ruled that the FBI had not only lied about Kenneth Trentadue’s death, the Bureau was also found guilty of having destroyed evidence concerning the case. In 2001 the Trentadue family was awarded $1.1 million, $250,000 of which remains a reward for information leading to the conviction of Kenneth Trentadue’s killers.

In late November, Newsweek magazine was to run a story revealing the history of PATCON, the Oklahoma City bombing complete with the part played by Eric Holder, the FBI initiated killings at Waco and Ruby Ridge and the subsequent murder of Kenneth Trentadue. But as Mike Vanderboegh, owner of the Sipsey Street Irregulars blog reports, Newsweek senior editor Tina Brown was “convinced” by members of the Clinton and Obama Administrations to remove certain information from the lengthy R M Schneiderman article.

So although originally approved for publication by Newsweek editor John Solomon, the article which finally appeared in the magazine had been cut to pieces, undoubtedly providing great relief to Holder, Clinton, Clinton Attorney General Janet Reno and many other current and former members of the Department of Justice.

The Federal Government bombed the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City

Verified Documents show Secret Service took thousands of phone records. A series of internal documents from the U.S. Secret Service obtained by the McCurtain Daily Gazette provide details of a project involving the transfer of thousands of telephone and bank records to a government database with the help of U.S. telephone and financial company executives. … The documents … reveal the transfer of thousands of individual telephone records into a special database the Secret Service created during the first frantic days after the April 19, 1995, Oklahoma City bombing.

The detailed field notes were prepared by a special agent who once headed the Electronic Crimes Branch of the Secret Service, where the agent was responsible for case coordination of all telecommunications and computer network investigations conducted by Secret Service field offices.

During her tenure as a Secret Service agent, Mary Riley coordinated the forensic analysis of computer and telecommunications equipment seized as evidence in all investigations through a team of 150 special agents trained as experts in computer forensics. Riley also served as a technical adviser to the G-8 countries’ high-tech subcommittee responsible for addressing international high-tech crime issues.

At the time the massive transfer of phone records took place, Riley was coordinating the project from the Miami, Fla., field office.

Notes created to explain the project were shared with top FBI and Department of Justice personnel.

Under wraps for decades now, these Secret Service memos reveal an important behind-the-scenes role the Secret Service played in unraveling some 688 phone calls made using a debit card purchased by Terry L. Nichols and Timothy J. McVeigh, using a fake name, Daryl Bridges.

Federal prosecutors would, over a year later, use the roadmap created by the so-called Daryl Bridges calling card to obtain convictions in the Denver federal trials of McVeigh and Nichols. However, during each trial there was scant mention of any role played by Riley or the Secret Service in obtaining the phone records.

A 1995 issue of the Ron Paul Survival Report, a newspaper published by the future presidential candidate, speculates that the federal government bombed the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City.

The previously unreported newsletter, part of a series which Paul began publishing early in his congressional career in the late 1970's.

"We're far from knowing everything, or even many things, about the horrific bombing of the Oklahoma City federal building," the newsletter item begins.

"Some people even think that the government itself could have been responsible," the newsletter states. "The government would not use its own agents, these people say. Spy agencies frequently use 'false-flag' recruitment. That is, the crazed men recruited into a 'right-wing' terrorist cell would not know they were actually working for the BATF, for example." (9-11)

"False-flag" is a term of art in the intelligence community . It’s currently much used by 9/11 Truthers, who argue that it was in fact the Bush administration CIA/NSA, PNAC,and the Israeli Mossad which perpetrated the attacks -- the "false-flag" being the notion, an elaborate hoax, that it was in fact al Qaeda -- in order to justify the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Timothy McVeigh, a sympathizer of the militia movement, was convicted and executed for setting off the bomb, which killed 168 people and wounded over 800. McVeigh was seeking revenge for the 1992 federal siege in Waco, Texas of the Branch Davidians, whose leader, David Koresh, the newsletter referred to as "a reasonable person." Paul's concern at the time was that the Oklahoma bombing would be used to target far-right, anti-government militias, whose ideology and activities Paul frequently praised in the newsletters, likening them to the American revolutionaries who fought for independence against Great Britain.

The Bush Dynasty, Bill Clinton, and other national figures did, indeed, turn the bombing against the far right, driving the militia movement further out across the country.

Ron Paul called for criminal charges against Eric Holder

Texas Congressman Ron Paul became the first GOP president candidate to call for criminal charges against Eric Holder.

Paul called for Holder to be "immediately fired." Paul went on to say "I think it was criminal," and called the operation a "false flag." He said that there needs to be an immediate investigation into Holder himself, and said Holder "deserves charges."

Paul went on to discuss a now infamous memo from White House lawyers who claim Obama has the right to assassinate American citizens anywhere in the world. Paul stated that Holder, and Obama, are trying to "legalize Martial law."

Paul also mocked the FBI's claim of uncovering an Iranian assignation plot against the Saudi ambassador. He said the man arrested "may never be tried because they don't want the truth to come out."

The May 1995 issue of the Ron Paul Survival Report warned of “The Trilateralist Alan Greenspan, and The Federal Reserve Banker's” and its author writes, “Now that my five children are grown and educated, I’ve listened to the many supporters who’ve urged me to return to office. I can now give up my medical practice, and dedicate every fiber of my being to saving our country.”

Israeli lobby flexes muscle, bars Ron Paul from debate.

The Republican Jewish Committee[RJC] was holding a GOP presidential debate on December 7th 2011 each candidate had agreed to attend. However, Ron Paul was barred from participating. Hmmmm....

The group called Ron Paul's foreign policy "extreme," "to far outside of the mainstream," and "to the left of Barack Obama." The groups lists "Isreal" as it's number one most important policy issue on it's website.

In the 2008 Presidential election, 80% of American Jewish voters selected Barack Obama. The group J-Street has released polls stating that American Jews will vote overwhelmingly to re-elect Obama against any Republican candidate. This means that Jewish Republicans, at best, reflect one half of one percent of the electorate.

PROOF there were additional explosive charges

The Tiffany Bible affidavit:
Tiffany Bible was a paramedic called to the Murrah Building following the bombing. This affidavit reports three important facts.
1. The ATF were not in the building.
2. That the ATF was already putting out a story that the Murrah Building was bombed "because of Waco" only a few hours after the actual blast and before Tim McVeigh was even arrested.
3. That an unexploded bomb was found attached to a gas line inside the building.

The Arlene Blanchard Press Release:
Arlene was a survivor of the bombing. In this press release, issued at the time of her grand jury appearance, she reveals that she was ordered to keep silent about what she knew of the bombing by the Army under threat of court martial.

DoD Atlantic Command Memo:
This memo, issued 36 hours after the bombing, reports at least two additional bombs were found in the Murrah Building.

FEMA Situation Report:
This FEMA memo also reports at least two additional bombs were found in the Murrah Building.

U.S. Forces Command Daily Log:
Again, confirmation of at least two additional bombs which were found in the Murrah Building.

Joe Harp affidavit:
Joe Harp, based on his military explosives experience, refutes the ANFO claim and identifies the additional bombs he sees removed from the building as being military in nature.

Jane Graham Statement:
This statement by a survivor tells of three men she saw in the Murrah Building Garage the week prior to the bombing, and the FBI's obvious disinterest in the matter.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Radio Logs:
These four pages are the radio log of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Note that the reports of additional bombs are confirmed by the fire department.

Virgil Steele Affidavit:
Virgil Steele is the elevator inspector who discovered that the story told by a senior BATF agent about being trapped in a plummeting elevator was a lie. The elevators were in working order except for being without power, and nobody had been trapped in them. Virgil also sees two additional bombs being removed from the building.

Working from the information contained within the documents themselves, here are the following conclusions:

The FEMA Regional Office that is responsible for the Oklahoma City area was telephoned. The woman who answered provided the following information:

There is no one in DELL GREER's former office, as there are two disasters to which the FEMA Regional Office was responding on 6/13/2001, one in Southern Louisiana and one in Texas. DELL GREER has not worked for FEMA in some years. GREER did work in that office for FEMA at the time of the Oklahoma City bombing. The name RICHARD W. KRIMM was familiar to the woman, but KRIMM also no longer works for FEMA.

FEMA employs "media monitors" in their regional offices.

The media monitors watch television coverage of disasters to which FEMA is responding. The purpose of the media monitors is to ascertain if the media coverage is "accurate", so that FEMA can issue press releases if any inaccurate information is broadcast. FEMA officials like DELL GREER would not put reports from "media sources" in a press release, but might put them in internal communications such as a Situation Report.

FEMA is not responsible for investigations of such criminal matters as the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. FEMA is tasked with providing personnel, material, and other assistance for search, rescue, and disaster relief and recovery. This being the case, until the responsible law enforcement agencies disseminate information to FEMA, FEMA must learn what is happening through monitoring the news media. FEMA does receive information from the wire services. She concurred that FEMA is not responsible for informing the public what caused the explosion at the Alfred P. Murrah Building, and that the described content of the FEMA Situation Report Number 5, written by DELL GREER to RICHARD W. KRIMM is only descriptive of the media reports to which GREER had access at that time.

Other situation reports subsequent to Number 5 might have been changed to reflect the change in the media reports from two unexploded bombs to no unexploded bombs. The time 2100L on the Situation Report Number 5 is military time and reflects that the document was written on 4/20/2001 at 9:00 PM. She suggested that the FEMA web site might reveal more. She asked how a FEMA internal document found its way to the Internet, and I responded that I did not know, but it was my understanding that several FEMA documents concerning the bombing have been made public, and there was no classification stamp on the copy I saw.

Still not satisfied ?, The references in the FEMA and DOD documents came from the same media reports that indicated two unexploded bombs were removed from the Murrah Building, and it is my conclusion that this explains the similarity in wording. Both FEMA and DOD Atlantic Command were only interested in disaster relief and recovery efforts and were not responsible for investigating the bombing, therefore they were relying on extant media reports to inform superiors. It is reasonable to conclude that, as the media reports changed, additional communications were disseminated by both agencies to update their respective management teams about the changing situation. The documents only serve as proof that the media did indeed report that bombs exploded, bombs were removed, not that FEMA employees saw them.

Subsequently, anonymous telephoned the Oklahoma Bombing Investigation Committee and verbally confirmed that the above documents are known to Charles Key's investigation.

The above documents are genuine.

Both Waco and Ruby Ridge are now known to have been PATCON inspired, Department of Justice plots.

Except for a few hundred thousand U.S. Patriots, most Americans have no clue what has really been going on within The United States over the past 100 years, and the sad thing is that most do not want to know the truth. House Bill H.R. 1955/S-1959 was read by the senate and then sent to DHS for some reason. Once it passed, this bill introduced by Jane Harman (D/CA), is the proverbial last nail hammered into every American patriots coffin. H.R. 4279 or the Prioritizing Resources and Organization for Intellectual Property Act of 2008 which was passed by the U.S. House of Representatives, it gave the government draconian powers to do just this. This legislation gave the government the power to seize property that facilitates the violation of intellectual property laws. The legislation also mandates the formation of a formal Intellectual Property Enforcement Division within the office of the Deputy Attorney General to enforce this insanity…

It has been revealed that F.E.M.A. has been building internment camps all over America granting Halliburton a massive $385 million dollar construction contract to make this happen. Most of these sites only need refurbished because they are mostly closed prisons, old WW2 internment camps still intact and other facilities taken over by the government. It has been said that these powers want to depopulate the planet of over 30% of it’s human inhabitants in the coming years. Examine all of the executive orders that have been signed into place allowing the president to basically become dictator in control of all government from tribal to federal in the event of any national emergency.

If you did not know, In late 2006, Congress revised the Posse Comitatus Act and the Insurrection Act to make it far easier for a president to declare martial law. Those changes were repealed at the end of this January as part of Public Law 110-181 (HR 4986), the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2008 (signed into law by President Bush on January 28, 2008). Unfortunately it is not the great victory in which one might think because of the total militarization of all local and State police forces all across America.

Will there be martial law? Is martial law coming soon to America? When you see law enforcement being armed with automatic weapons, bullet proof vests and riot gear in small towns that have not had a murder or crime in years, then you have to ask yourself why.

The United States has more people locked up in prisons today than Russia and China combined. It comes out to one in every hundred Americans is behind bars. Our once great country that our ancestors fought and died for has become exactly the tyrants they were fighting. Fascists! When has America ever used words like Homeland? Never!

Fill your pantry with non perishable foods, medicines, cooking oils, tinned meats and veggies. Flour, oats dried corn peas, beans and lentils.. Teach your self how to preserve food for storage. Check out your local potable/ drinking water supplies, non perfumed chlorine bleach is a good sterilizer for water, about 2 teaspoons full per 2 gallon bucket, stirred well and allowed to stand for at least 24 hours with a lid on it or until it no longer smells of bleach. Boiling water helps but it is not always enough to kill off the bacteria which can resist high temperatures.

Americans have been warned for years of the things to come, but have blindly looked away from the truth, which has been available for all to see. There are no more excuses not to prepare for the possible future. The time to act is now before it is too late.
