Go to the groups section, look under Comms, Ham operators, you'll find the group. Alot of folks are already setup, getting their license.
I love staying off the repeaters, just to see how far I can go. I'm a ham also, a paddlewacker from wayyyyback.....I run 20 and 40, do packet delivery, also have a cb base station in my rack.
Get with the radio folks here and introduce yourself.
Terminator Girl should be popping up soon, she'll get you on the right track....
