What to Do When Our Age or Health Stands In Our Way.
Many of us are up in years. And some of those are not tops in the Good health Department.
So we have at one time ask ourselves this question.
"What the hell am I doing here with all of these young people?"
We also ask, "What can I do that would be expected of me when the chips are down?"
We still have eyes and ears for the most part and if nothing else, over the years he have learn to be Patient.
What we need to know is this. To start out with, we need to know a few of those young men and women who will likely be out there with weapons at the ready. These are the ones that still have speed of foot and can relay the information that we might have collected from the enemy movement around us.
We just have to prevent the enemy from seeing what we are doing. Information Gathering is very important to our cause and you can bet that the enemy will be doing likewise. Maybe some bad information from us to the enemy will work wonders.
This is when, 'One Stands Alone' will come in very handy. because we move slowly, we won't likely be seen as a threat and that should allow us more freedom to collect information.
We all have a role to play in the Fight For Freedom. So lets all do our share as well as we can.

And that is good. All to many people continues to sit around doing nothing and this we need to stop. Action is more then just another word. I am glad that we have a Militia, ready as possable to stand up for Our Freedoms.

You do what you can do. Being old is great because you have already figured out you not going to live forever. You also have compiled a lot of knowledge from the school of hard knocks. As far as fighting goes I still can hold a weapon and hit what I aim at and could stand my ground because I sure couldn't run far. We need to do something or we might as well stand down and let what happens happen. Not a quitter just a realist, the only thing we are doing now is letting a lot of hot air out, and maybe because of all the hot air we put out are really the reason for global warming. LOL

It comes down to Now and Tomarrow. We never know anything about tomarrow. You are correct about The School of Hard Knocks. But I do not see death anywhere in my future. Chuckles.
My lungs prevents my taking and holding a really true aim on the targets. But I shall still do what I can, like you and many others.

Well, there will always be Duck Hunting. I fire my 22 or my SKS or my 12 Guage and the Enemy Ducks...or I hit my target and they fall.
Speaking of Shotguns, I have to see about having about7" of my 12 Guage Barrel removed. While shooting Cut Rounds out of my 12 Guage, I fould that I damaged the end of my barrel. The barrel had slits cut on the end and it was just to much. It became a weak spot. Thankfully My Woman has a 12 Guage as well and it has no such slits in the barrel.

I have said this for a long time. The years in service and the years of just living has given us old guys a edge. Remember war? Remember fighting? Remember fights that went bad, and how not to let it happen again? They will look at us (old guys and women) as a burden, not a threat. Little do they know. I have always said, "I can't hump my mountains, but can slow down the atackers long enough for the young guys to get their shit together." If that will be my last fight, so be it! But, I will take a shitload of them with me! " I live my life, that when my feet hit the floor in the morning, the devil says " OH CRAP!!! HE IS AWAKE!!! "
