WHERE AND WHAT TO POST ON OUR MAIN PAGE
We need the help of all of our members to clean up our main page.
After two years of watching this website grow from a few devoted patriots to the 8000+ that are signed up today, one would think we would be seeing a lot more progress in this movement then we do.
I watch each day as people join, hang around a few days and then leave this website and I can only wonder why?
That is part of the reason for all of the updates and changes that our members are seeing take place here at WRAM. We are trying to update the website and put in place a professional look, and atmosphere that will draw and retain new members.
Some of the biggest complaints that we hear from people who have come here and checked out our website and then left after only a few days or weeks are easy to see if you take just a few minutes and wade through all of the different NON Militia related post that are placed on our main page each day.
Some patriots that have left after spending a few months, weeks or just days with us, gave as their reason for leaving, A statement of praise for all the great information they found here, and then a statement of discontent/dissasfaction for the amount of time and effort that they must expend just to dig through all of the Non Militia Related material that is posted each day, just to find the information they are searching for?
We have tried several times to get our members to stay within the guidelines of our mission and what this website was started for in the first place. To teach people about their powers, under the second amendment, and the rest of our constitution. A message that seems to get smothered out by all of the gossip stories, rumors, lies and conspiracy theories that will still be argued about when most of us are dead and gone.
The sad part of this is that most of these subjects can not be resolved until and/or unless we all join together and stand up against the powers that be and Restore our constitution as the Law of this great Republic. The only way we will ever accomplish this is if we are able to educate those around us and cause them to open their eyes and see what has gone wrong with our country in the past 100 years or so.
Posting and discussing or arguing about all of these other subjects will only Distract and Divide us in our efforts to correct, the wrongs that face us on a daily basis.
The sooner we are able to combine our efforts and everyone focus on our main mission the sooner we will start to see changes in what is happening to our country.
We have tried several times in the past to get everyone to follow a pattern of what and where to post certain types of information, to no avail. It seems that everyone wants what they post to appear on the front page where they can make the largest impact on the most people, everyone likes to think what they have to say is important and should be seen by all. A lot of times different members will post the exact same information within minutes, hours or days of each other using just a slightly different title to their post, which contains the same information posted earlier.
While we have had several suggestions on how to control this and make sure that everything that is posted relates to the reason we are here, and posted in the proper place, The best way is that all of our members be on the same page and be willing to police ourselves when we get ready to make a post.
We should all ask ourselves a few questions before we post something, that will be seen by anyone that comes to our website seeking information or guidence on how to get involved in the Modern Militia Movement or learn how to survive what we may all be faced with in the future.
1. Where does my input of information ( posting) fit into the overall mission of this website?
2.Has this information already been posted by someone else?
3.Will what I post, help the movement, or will it simply bog members down in another discussion about something they can not change until we have reached our other goals?
4.Am I offering a solution to a problem or projecting fear about the subject in my post?
5.How does what I am about to post pertain to the advancement of educating others about what we are here to accomplish? IE: Training, Planning and Prepardness
6.Am I here to help by posting things that are important to all patriots or am I just using this website as a place where I can drop another of my Blogs Rants or discussions to help my internet score grow?
While we do welcome everyone to come here and become a part of our movement, We also believe that each of us should show our dedication to this cause by using good judement when we post something.
When any of us make a post to this website, it is our duty and responsibility to ensure that we are doing our very best to help other members or visitors understand what this website this movement and our reason for being here is all about.
A lot of the Discussions and Blogs that end up on the main page would be better read/ used if that information is posted in either a State Group or one of the many Special Subject Groups that we have here on this website. All of our groups can be found by using the Group Tab at the top of the page.
If we can't depend on our members to help in this effort then it will become necessary for us to devise a plan to control where and what is posted on our website. I would like to avoid that, how about you?

You know,this has been up for 3 days, and apparently it has had no effect on the posting of what was requested to be self policed,are not the members think we are not serious about what we requested,or do you think it does not apply to you? Well newsflash we are serious and it does apply to you if you are posting what does not apply to our current situation and what this site is about.We would like to see you and all members pulling together to make this a true gathering of true Patriots all working together on the same issue.

We really do need more of our members to read this and start right now helping to put their post in the different areas of the website that are intended for there purpose. This plan will only work if all of our members join us and do their part.
Can't everyone understand that we are trying to avoid having to resort to deleting members post or telling you to move it to another location. This is a chance for each and every one of you to get involved and help us clean up our website so when people visit they find a professional place to come for information. Please help us.

What to post on the Main Page.
I worry mostle about how we could put out the word that Our Weapons Are Being Taken By Force. I do not mean in the next day or so. I would like something for the moment So I would love to maybe see something added in Brite Red where we could click onto that would spread the word like wild, if that is possable and I hope that it is possable.

Our Main/Front page has become a catch all for any and everything that someone reads and thinks others will be interested in, Regardless if it is Militia related or not!
With the Ning platform it is hard to put in palce special Apps that can be used to blast a message to every one fast. We are able to broadcast a message to all members but it can only be done by the management.
What we have done is create different groups for different information and if they are used properly by the members it is easy to go to those groups and find the latest information on any subject.
What we are having problems with is that everyone seems to think if they post things away from the main page then no one will go and read it. What we all should try to understand is that if the information that someone wants or needs is in a group just for that info then they have to go there to get it. This making the group more important then the main page for certain information.
When everyone is trying to post on the main page it only causes everyones post regardless of how important it is to be pushed down into the archives and bogged down by having to search for it.
By using the different groups we are able to spread it out and keep it in the forefront longer, thus making it easier for our members to find it.

actually i concur. we have built an infrastructure of a group that has known each other for a long time and so we have a duty to capture others as to that reason for even being on here............... I would say that we have one forum for the importance of the basic person here ,but the main one should be about cognitive introduction and maintenance to the plans of our mission............. Now about the many who leave, i would put a large percentage to people coming in to look at, others that want to believe but cant. But remember only about 5% have progressed as far as we have .So make the important buisness at hand the main page. 2ndary the everyday posts for people to put there info in here.............. but keep them seperate. We will be lucky at best to keep 1 out of a 2 hundred people no matter what. UNTIL people start hurting badly from this tyranny! ...................... personal chats are in chat lets use them more. but there are at times in here when people enter just for the purpose to touch base with others.................. its truly a fine line ladies and gentlemen.................... but always keep in mind that we have established a being with in this site that is unlike any otherss which i have seen, and ive been on many.................. let me tell you of twana blevins some time and you will understand true site censureship with freedom and Republic attached to its name.

OD , I'm wondering 'why' you don't see the reason for some including me that don't get involved in some websites .
As a youngster I was involved in marketing and one of the first things taught was to give them something tangible in order to maintain their interest .
Most of these sites give nothing tangible , something that they can chew on . The same goes for Militias of any type . One Militia I know of has their training missions with meaningful information on not just the use of weapons and tactics but in general how to survive in any quarter . I know there are others .
Most sites offer learning the Federalist Papers, Constitution etc. but doesn't show us how to apply what we know .
You can only teach so much and those things are not tangible , however important .
We have a way to change things but requires time away from home albeit not much, but gets the learning to a new level with a whole host of tangible items .
These sites all talk about National things and what is wrong with DC and where we're heading but you can affect things on a local level that will be felt at the State level and the National level . If you cannot change things on a local level how can you change things on a National level ? Simply put , you cannot !
How many in DC care what you think ?
So what we have done is form a County Assembly and unlike these sites we grow weekly and very few stay at home . It is a Lawful Body Politic and is already changing things in our County .
The Government will not come in to take our guns , anything like County Growth Management (U.N.)that we are under will be stopped . Federal charge of our inter-county commerce in regard to crops of food and our farms will stop . Any unconstitutional "legalize" will stop .
I hope you see how I mention "Lawful" and "Legal" . Legal is a corporate term and even though the USA is a corporation, Legal is not Law (Constitutional or Common) . We now have 7 County Assemblies in our state and many other states are involved in forming their own .
Our Congresswoman (R) is not the person we hired and now is just part of the whole 'cabal' in DC . Our district is gaining power rapidly and she will change or get replaced and that I have no doubt .
If any of you want to do truly , something that can be seen as tangible then check out our website and their are others it's www.republicassembly.com . The Tea Party or the 912er's are great but cannot do what we can . This site and others can be a useful tool in discussion of getting these Assemblies done and working . We were formed by Assemblies and are basic to our future . Thanks for reading . db

You have very valid points and I agree with some of what you are saying,however,we have currently 115 different groups and many of them deal with specialized topics.
We do have postings for the different FTX,Meets and greets,and meetings!
We also have a new group entitled SECOM which is working extremely hard at bringing political action on board.The organizers of this group are working endless hours each and every day to bring this to fruition,and it is coming together quite well!
You might want to look this group over and possibly try to find a way to make this important meet in Valdosta Ga.
We have to start somewhere,and this the best opportunity we have at this time.
We also advocate very strongly the CoS,and the Committies of Association.
We are an umbrella group that is here to help promote our different militia,and help to bring all these groups on to the same page.
If you are here looking for training,you can find it through the different groups.
If you are looking for information,you have a nearly infinate resource within this site.
Believe me Sir/Ma'am we do have very tangible info in this site if you care to look at it.
Your input is greatly appreciated,and if you have any ideas on improving the site,please feel free to give them to us.We are open to suggestions,and will consider each and every one.
