This weekend NCSM is participating in the Redding Rodeo Parade and then having a two day FTX near Red Bluff. All CSM members are invited to come up. The June FTX is still in the planning stages, but I think the NCSM Bay Area Platoon is going to have an FTX on Saturday, June 15th near Angles Camp, east of Stockton. The rest of NCSM will meet up near Red Bluff at the Paynes Creek training area on June 16th.

We've reached 535 members on the Modernmilitiamovement.com site in the California State Militia. This is where we operate primarily. We are the largest, most active Militia in the nation.

1. CPL Sam Dale is promoted to Staff Sergeant and will serve as the Bay Area Platoon SGT.

2. CPL Clyde Massengale is promoted to the rank of Sergeant, he will serve as the Squad Leader for 2nd Squad.

3. PVT Nate Smith of the North Bay Squad is promoted to the rank of Corporal.

4. PVT Jason Cann is promoted to the rank of Corporal, he will serve as the 5th Squad Leader.

5. PVT Derek Plemons is promoted to the rank of Corporal, he is 4th Squad Leader.

6. PVT Miguel Aviles is promoted to the rank of Corporal, he is 3rd Squad Leader.

7. PVT Ashley Rice is promoted to Corporal and will serve as the Monterey/Santa Cruz Squad Leader.

8. SGT Lowell Noble is promoted to Staff Sergeant and will continue to serve as the North Bay Area Squad Leader.

9. SSG Don Hatcher is promoted to the rank of 2nd Lieutenant and will continut to serve as the Bay Area Platoon Leader.

These promotions were approved by myself, the Executive Officer and First Sergeant as well as the Bay Area Platoon Leadership. They reflect positively on the individuals who have earned these promotions and on the unit for its consistent growth and developement in training and organization. Above all else, the Bay Area Platoon has shown the importance of simply Showing-up! These promotions were effective 4/15/13.

Any Groups joining around the Central California area? We have a small group of guys, mostly snipers and a long range drone capable of flying with night vision, and also has a few other things that I wont put up here, but we are a small group looking to join a bigger group to make our skill more useful.

We are a group not bound by political sides, financial interests, racial or religious divides. We are at a critical point in the history of America when the freedoms we have inherited, we now have to fight for. We are not only concerned, but willing to lay everything on the line to fix this. This is an open call to any American citizens who feel there are serious issues with the direction, leadership, and policies of our country and who wish to stand and make a difference. We have logical answers to the problems we currently face. We do not come to you asking for money or contributions, but for your support. Right now we need people who are willing to help us gain influence and unite American patriots nationwide. We will be launching our national campaign at the start of summer. This includes a website, contacting both local and national news affiliates, and all of our country’s representatives. If there is a way, a chance to do something, would you? We offer that chance.
