The St Lucie / PB: 111thCO. group will be holding an FTX at the Sebasitan State Preserve on the 25th - 27th. We will be working on Recon, developing stratigies and tactics; attack / counter attack methods. With compass and map work. Operational security will focus on team movment / maneauvering and cover and concealment.
Anyone who is interested in coming can contact me for info concerning location and directions.
This will be a base camp senario and field exercise. Will have to bring in water, none on site. Basic gear is required with sleeping gear and tent. Rain or shine.
Crap Rick I was hoping to talk you into attending our FTX. Oh well, I guess no matter how good a man is, he cant be in two places at once!
Im out of town at a leadership conference in Raleigh NC for the weekend. As soon as I get back on Tuesday I will email you the meeting notes.
Have a wonderful weekend Brother!

Permalink Reply by Rick Pollard FL Group Leader on February 17, 2011 at 6:33pm I will be attending in the future, hopefully I will bring our entire unit up for fun in the sun! We have been trying to get everyone on the same date: but working with work schedules etc. so it had to be that weekend for us. Just keep us informed for the future. I personally want to get around more and check out what else is going on in the state, but the balancing act ( plates on the poles LOL) is getting tough.
You enjoy my home state and dont eat too much pulled pork BBQ, or you could bootleg some back for me ;)
