Does anyone know of any units around Ada county? Getting inquiries from interested parties looking for units to join in that area.

Okay first I would like to congratulate Boise on holding their first public meet and greet/get together at the Golden corral in Napa this Saturday the second at 5 PM. I hope you all have a good turnout and if there's anything else I can do from this end of the state just let me know. Capt. Kevin K.

Trying to get this moved into the Idaho Group at this time... If you go to groups and search for "Ada County" you will find the start up for the 1/43 Light Foot Militia

James - if you look in groups for Ada County, you will find Ada County 1/43 Light Foot Militia which is not forming. Please have you and your Ada County patriots join there. Jack Stuart (WWII vet and Patrick Henry locally) and I are working on this. Jack signed up about 85 people and we are now directing them here to Ada County 1/43. Jack and I met with the Ada County Posse last night and they voted to disband and join the 1/43rd. Also the northern regiment of the Idaho Light Foot Militia is having a field training June 21-23 outside Priest River and they have invited all of us "Southerners" to join them. Capt Kevin can give you more details.

Ada County 1/43 Light Foot Militia first public meeting June 4th 7PM at the Meridian American Legion Hall behind City Hall on Broadway. Major road construction in the area so plan to arrive early so you can walk to the building. Short Q&A and rest of the meeting will be enlistment for those with current CCW license. Questions write to IDCCG1A@cableone.net
