WOMEN IN THE MILITIA!! The K.I.S.S. Facture.....
I know this is a loaded subject, however I am writing this discussion in hopes of shedding some light and one woman's perspective of women and their roles in the militia. Some things that I will point out may offend some, my apologies but realty is realty. You and your families survival may depend on it and foremost our freedom, liberty and children's future.
Ladies you play a very important and intregal part in this movement. We by nature are protective, tenacious and ask alot of questions. We are organizers and are the glue that usually holds things together. We must work with our significant others and support them, educate our children and have a plan in place.
The first thing that each and everyone of you should be asking yourself is "What I am willing to sacrifice - what I am willing to do?" Are you willing to give up beauty salon appointments, buying makeup, anything that is really unnecessary? That money can be used for food prep, medical supplies anything that may be beneficial to the survival of you and your family. Are you willing to learn and do things that you are not accustomed to doing? Can you potty outdoors in the woods? Can you skin, gut and prepare wild meat? Can you effectively shoot and clean a gun? Can you start a fire or prepare a meal on an open fire? Learn to be tough and self sufficient in case you are separated from your significant other or militia group. Forget the makeup and having your hair perfectly in place. Be able to get down and dirty. Just some things for you to consider.
Which brings me to the K.I.S.S. Factor, and no it does not necessarily mean "Keep It Simple Stupid". To me it means Knowledge, Iniative, Support and Strength.
KNOWLEDGE:
Keep yourself armed with education on various subjects and topics i.e., local/state legislation that can affect you, preparation not only food but survival skills and most important educate your children. Be aware, research, research, research!!
INIATIVE:
Take the iniative to get involved. Organize a rally or dinner in your neighborhood, set up a women's support group, make phone calls, talk to you LEO's and get involved in your community and schools. Use your voice and be heard, take the reins and don't pass the buck. Be a motivator!!
SUPPORT:
Support your husband/significant other. Remember ladies, you may think your plate is full at times, but his is too. Things that he cannot get to, well step up to the plate and take up the slack. Support your militia group - we all have job's we are good at.
STRENGTH:
You must be a rock, you must be strong. This is not the place for emotions, mind games, drama, vindictiveness, being bitchy or self centered or having a "Can't do" attitude. You must not panic, you must keep yourself focused and think full circle. Stay out of "The Sea of Madness". Be professional, courteous, humble and keep the "bad" paralizing fear out of the equation. It will only hamper you.
Well ladies, I hope this helps....this is just my perspective after being involved in the militia for the past 20 years. It's all about checks and balances, unity, working together to reach a common goal of our liberty, freedom and survival. Yes ladies it is hard work but isn't it worth your childrens future and the future of this great nation?
Please feel free to share your thoughts and ideas and also what you are actively doing now. I would love to hear from you.
I also would like to dedicate and recognize the following ladies that are not only doers but are also movers and shakers and have stepped up to the plate:
Christina, Lis, Kari Light, Amelia Foxwell, Johnnie K., Luna, TNRose, Terminator Girl, Ripley, CCRider, Michele, Luna, RSS and anyone that I may have forgot and left out - my most sincerest apologies.
Keep up the good work ladies....you are appreciated!!
Be safe and live free............

Comment by Jyrell David Shedd on Wednesday Hello Folks, Jyrell down here in SC looking to make new friends and advance the cause of freedom.
Thinking about something along the lines of Mid-Summer Regional Meet and Greet doing a Nationwide Meet and Greet on a Regional basis with Commo/IT setting up to link it all together and make it go MAINSTREAM MEDIA. What say you?
Will Not Bow!!!
Comment by Leslie Brown-Stankiewicz ID Ldr on April 15, 2013 at 3:39pm I have started an Auxiliary for our Light Foot Militia, and the problem I have is the women don't want to support their husbands. I have tried meetings in the past, and with no attendance.
I'm going to try one more meeting, we have some newbies in our County Unit and I have spoken with a couple of the wives that have attended. I have heard all sorts of excuses. I feel like the "Auxiliary of One."
We have a huge FTX training coming up in June and I prepare the meals for this, and I am planning some meetings for any of the wives or girlfriends, we will see.

Comment by Lady Hawk on October 31, 2012 at 6:09pm RESPECT!
We women know what it is like to be in a relationship where there is no or little RESPECT. It is high time, we, ladies, speak up more on what we want and deserve. Let's not hide anymore. We must reinstate the value of our feelings and sustain the bravery it is going to take to make this big shift. Communication is the key regardless of how the other reacts. I wish I still had a copy of "Gossips, Gorgons and Crones" - every woman should read it. Then you will understand better why your fear of being truthful and powerful has been sequestered. Well, the abuse hasn't yet stopped, but it will if we stand up. (I could only read a part of that book at a time... by Jane Caputa, I believe) Get a copy! Get clear within yourself before you pass it on to a significant other. You don't want that info responded with laughter unless you are able to handle that kind of defense. God/dess bless you and go for it! We must get free from societal structure before we can be effective in creating new life!
Comment by Lady Hawk on October 31, 2012 at 6:01pm I'm now inspired by Russell Means' video... all in a community need to have unanimous agreement. Whether a group is 2 in number or 2,000. Just thought I would place that here. Seems like some steps needed for that to happen.
1. Concept presented - only 1 at a time
2. Each individual offers their HONEST opinion (som many have learned to just go along, for fear of being ridiculed. Freedom of speech, yet always with respect.
3. Open discussion.
4. Conclusion clearly defined. And everyone not only agrees, but have been convinced that the decision is the healthiest and best for the whole group.

Comment by Lady Hawk on October 31, 2012 at 4:19pm Thank you for all your dedicated thoughts and work, Mrs. MM. I find that when example is set by those who have the vision it doesn't take long for the "fashion" member in life to follow. It's good for women, like I did, to make a claim, to say, hey, look at me. This is what I am about. Song: "Hey, Look Me Over!" Blessings and Unity of Purpose for Us All!
Comment by Rikki Heinis on October 31, 2012 at 2:09pm Mrs MM, I never stopped to consider that there are quite a few ladies out there that don't have the tools necessary to take care of themselves or keep themselves safe should trouble arise. I agree it is imperitive that these women grasp some kind of understanding of self reliance. Thanks for bringing this important issue to the forefront.
