I. For the more effectual annoyance of the enemy upon our rivers and in our mountains and woods all citizens of this district who are not conscripted are called upon to organize themselves into independent companies of mounted men or infantry, as they prefer, arming themselves and to serve in that part of the district to which they belong.
II. When as many as 10 men come together for this purpose they may organize by electing a captain, 1 sergeant, 1 corporal, and will at once commence operations against the enemy without waiting for special instructions. Their duty will be to cut off Federal pickets, scouts, foraging parties and trains and to kill pilots and others on gunboats and transports, attacking them day and night and using the greatest vigor in their movements. As soon as the company attains the strength required by law it will proceed to elect the other officers to which it is entitled. All such organizations will be reported to their headquarters as sonn as practicable. they will receive pay and allowances for subsistance and forage for the time actually in the field, as established by the affidavits of their captains.
III. These companies will be governed in all respects by the same regulations as other troops. Captains will be held responsible for the good conduct and efficiency of their men and will report to these headquarters from time to time.

Comment by M E on March 15, 2013 at 5:06am Could not agree more Phoenix, we have past the tipping point in this country. Those who are awake see that things have been and are getting more out of control and out of line with what the constitution states. 'We The People' have been deceived for a very long time in thinking or believing which ever it may be, that the gov is in charge of us, which they are not. We have many IN ALIEN ABLE rights that local, state and fed seems to think they can take away from us, when they can't. Something has got to change if there is any hope of a future in this country.
Comment by Phoenix on March 14, 2013 at 2:34pm We are a group not bound by political sides, financial interests, racial or religious divides. We are at a critical point in the history of America when the freedoms we have inherited, we now have to fight for. We are not only concerned, but willing to lay everything on the line to fix this. This is an open call to any American citizens who feel there are serious issues with the direction, leadership, and policies of our country and who wish to stand and make a difference. We have logical answers to the problems we currently face. We do not come to you asking for money or contributions, but for your support. Right now we need people who are willing to help us gain influence and unite American patriots nationwide. We will be launching our national campaign at the start of summer. This includes a website, contacting both local and national news affiliates, and all of our country’s representatives. If there is a way, a chance to do something, would you? We offer that chance.
In defense of freedom,
Phoenix

Comment by M E on March 3, 2013 at 12:27pm Partisan Ranger, thanks for the clarification, that was what my post in the discussions was supposed be be about yesterday. I do not uphold state 'code' as it were because it is not constitutional, when I see others who claim to upload state law, I equate that to being part of the problem. State Law and the state are two totally different animals. I fully uphold and support our God given and constitutionally reiterated rights, I however do not support the colorable law that we have been forced to belive as the real macoy since the mid 1913?
Comment by Partisan Ranger on March 3, 2013 at 11:56am I think the point of saying that we are not "anti-government" is to clarify that we are not anarchists and that we do not want to overthrow the government. We are a state organization that trains to defend and provide service to the people of Missouri under the MO and US Constitutions. There is not a non-government organization in Missouri that is more ready to assist the people of Missouri during a crap hit the fan scenario than the Missouri Militia. We have established such a good example that many other state militias are using our structure and organization as a model as they establish units in their states.
Comment by S. Missourian on March 3, 2013 at 10:16am @PartisanRanger - agreed, they seem well organized. Their website is very well done, and it looks like they have a solid membership group. My trouble is, it says right on their mission statement "we are not anti-government". Now Im not implying that everyone should hate the government all the time, but at this time, the government is our problem. It is on a socialist rampage, shredding the Constitution from left to right, and sooner or later its going to come down to the nuts and bolts. With that mission statement, do you suppose that group will be a willing resource at SHTF time? Just curious.
Comment by Partisan Ranger on March 3, 2013 at 12:41am Ineffective?? There is a unit of the Missouri Militia in the St Louis area and the last I was aware they are organized, active and effective. http://2ndbrigade.missourimilitia.com/
