Brian, I am afraid to say there is not much going on here as you can see. I see you are from belen, there are some folks in the Alb, Los Lunas area that may be still active. I believe myself to be one of, if not the last one still on this site here in NM.

It was decided and agreed that we would work on smaller units around the state then coordinate these together when needed. I do not know what is going on in the RG valley.

Thanks again for your reply. It is still sad that someone put the initial effort out there to get a WRAM state Militia started in N.M. And due to some unknown reason it appears to have died out? I see time and time again where cyber soldiers get involved in web based message boards. They are all going to change the world. Truth is most are just gun fanatics. Dedication to them is planting their lazy ass in front of the television with a large bag of Fritos and a can of bean dip and settle in for Monday night football. The American way, let someone else do the work for me. Cyber cry babies! Talk the talk, but talk is cheap! Truth is these want to be Patriots will soon be surrendering their firearms to our government. Yeah, yeah , I know when you pry my gun from my cold dead hand, I have seen your bumper sticker! Truth is there is strength in numbers. You alone will be an army of one. Good luck with that. Take your bug out bag and your loved ones to the wilderness. Good plan, you have firearms! Again good luck, army of one. Our founding fathers gave us the right to form Citizen Militias. Why? Because even then they knew we needed a system of checks and balances. Let " Mr. Obama" enact
the UN gun law in the U.S. stand by and watch the Federal, State, and Local authorities take your long guns, pistols and ammo and haul them off to be melted for scrap. Think how much 2A means to us as Americans. What if the Jews had the right to bear arms? Look at this from a historic prospective. Human beings were herded like animals and slaughtered by who? Nazi soldiers and countless army personnel that were armed! Can you see the writing on the wall? People need to stop their constant sniveling, crying and whining. Stop sitting back thinking someone else will take of you. Stop bitching about the way things are and how things are heading in "the wrong direction". I am by no means anti-government. I own a successful business (that I did start on my own), I pay way more then my share in taxes. I am a Christian that worships one God. I know there are people in our wonderful state who feel it is time to organize!! Strength in numbers! Give one Saturday to train in firearms, survival skills, first aid. Be a Patriot Soldier not an X-Box warrior. If anyone is ready to make a commitment and start an actual Militia lets get started now! Time is running out to prepare yourself. If there are like minded men and woman in this state who feel the same pull out the stops, put on your BDUs and ORGANIZE! Stop the Internet chatter and go to work. Don't get me wrong I think the Internet is a good tool for an open line of communication. But that is not all there is to this.Are people actually scared to start an organized citizen Militia in New Mexico? It is not illegal. Maybe I am missing something here. If so please enlighten me. I'm ready to organize and get training. It's time for a true Brotherhood that will actually stick together.

No problem I did not take it as directed at me. I would very much like to see the state members come together, if for no other reason than to exchange ideas and initiate communication between the groups/units. Training has always been something of a problem as folks cannot find a way to fit it into their schedules. Hell even the meet and greets we held were difficult to pull together. The idea of localized units was good, but at the cost of a statewide web I am afraid, try as I might I was not able to get folks to see the need. Here in the NW corner we have a small group but we have yet to gel as a unit, still working on that.
