I personally think the bigger threat is from this side of the border. What are we going to do to defend our liberties, unalienable rights and the Constitution?

I agree completely, more people should be focused on taking care of our problems here. We all need to speak up about how our Constitution is being degraded. Call and write your Representative and Senator. Organize everyone you know and start a rally to get your voice heard. If we all speak loud enough we will be heard and the situation can be corrected. Be active in educating as many people as you can about what is going on, many people are clueless.

Technically, since we elected them, We are the ones who allowed our representatives to put us were we are now. Whole generations turned a blind eye to what was happening.

This is why it is up to us, the citizens of NY, to change it. We need to take back our state, to Restore State Sovereignty, and to hold our corrupt and ill-intentioned elected officials accountable. This needs to be done by legal and peaceful means if possible or by revolutionary means if necessary.

I am willing to take orders from the chain of command. I will remain
as I have for the past four years, at the realy.
How organized are we to be put on call and employ? There are not any logistics in place that I know of that could put us at that readiness?

I think we really need to examine how our votes get counted and how candidates are chosen for the population to vote on. With all the intellectual talent in this country, I refuse to believe that the politicians we currently have to choose form are the best that America has to offer. It seems over many elections we have been voting ourselves a kleptocratic Police State. I do not want the current trajectory for my children's future.

Actually, I'm speaking of the voting and progressives that got the ball rolling. the votes cast by our grandparents and great-grandparents who got hoodwinked by the "new Deal" and a number of other policies prior to that and a few after that.

As for examining "how our votes get counted and how candidates are chosen for the population to vote on", there are groups currently in NY working to take back our state through the legal and legislative system.

I was Active Duty Army for 9 1/2 years as a Combat Medic. I have 3 deployments, 2 to Iraq and 1 to Afghanistan. The last 3 years I have been an Army Instructor. I am Army Certified to Instruct MOUT, Patrol, Convoy & Battalion Aid Station Operations, IED Defeat Lane, Triage, Evacuation and my specialty Tactical Combat Casualty Care. I am from Western & Southern Tier part of New York. I'm looking at starting a squad size element at first and then hopefully building up to a Company size element.
