Yeah, I'd like to know that myself. I don't see anything about meetings,trainings, etc..I'm no trigger happy girl, but it would be great to meet up with my fellow brothers and sisters and get some kind of ball moving, instead of sitting on this laptop discussing it. Do we have a leader for our Nc group?

Wram has been through some stuff recently. I have been around for years and actually went to an FTX in Western NC put together by NC mist (now defunct). Many groups go through this kind of ebb and flow. I am in North Central NC and was hoping to get together with fellow patriots for an FTX involving airsoft. When we did our FTX it was a lot of fun but we also learned a lot (even did night ops. Now this wasn't a bunch of trigger happy guys and girls. We learned concealment, working as a team, defensive positioning, but mainly it was a place for people to meet. If anyone is interested in getting together for an FTX this spring friend me and I will see what I can put together (I am NOT the leader of this group though) I am also NOT military trained. I would love to have someone at the FTX that has recent military experience so we could learn hand to hand. I am open to whatever though. Let me know what you think is important. Let me state that 1. ALL would be welcome, I do not discriminate (well supervised children are OK too) 2. NO LIVE WEAPONS. (only airsoft spring or electric, NO air powered and you bring your own "weapon " and ammo) I want to get to know you before we do any live fire stuff. 3. Prepare to rough it outside (this is a great time to see if you could handle a weekend camping out) 4. Be prepared to give a "talk" about a subject you feel would benefit the militia, (medical/ prepardness/ edible plants/ field stripping a rifle/ hand to hand combat/ defensive position building/ concealment/ mental and physical fitness/ etc. and let me know what that would be (no rants please). 5 NO anti-government stuff.  Hey you can believe what you want, but an FTX is not about that.6. Be prepared to feed yourself and meet your own personal and group needs (though I may cook up something for one or 2 meals) Let me know I would plan it for a spring weekend ( as I know many of us work for a living) This is dependent on enough  group interest. I am easily reached by US1, I-85 and NC 158.

Well thats two, I have "friended" you both. I hope to have something planned by Feb for Apri/May time frame. If anyone else is interested friend me and you can put FTX in the personal messsage. I will try to accomidate everyone's schedule as best as I can. I am about 90 min north west from Fayetteville.I am hoping for at least 15 people that make for 3 teams.

Another great Idea is to use paintball gear for ftx.
