Dennis, Yes it was moved. When I called and set up the room for us at Luigianno's, the lady neglected to tell me that they were closed on Monday's. I went down and talked to the Mgr at Swadley's and he said he would accommodate us.

Charlie Lynn, I removed your post. Please3 feel free to repost what you are looking for, but for your safety, it is better not to broadcast your information like that. There are some people on here from the Tulsa area, look them up and exchange your information if you like. But to post it on a board open for all to see could make you an easy target for someone wanting to harass you. NEO is from your area and you can get ahold of him on here.

Okie medic, I was not sure how public you wanted to make it. That works for me though, the more the merrier.

OKLAHOMA CITY — The governor and other state officials would be prohibited from banning or confiscating firearms during a state of emergency under a bill signed into law by Gov. Mary Fallin.

Fallin signed the bill Wednesday that specifically bars any state or local official from restricting the sale, possession or transportation of firearms and ammunitions, even during a declared state of emergency.

The bill was pushed by gun rights advocates who cited a situation in Louisiana in which firearms were confiscated after Hurricane Katrina.

The measure amends the Oklahoma Riot Control and Prevention Act, which gives the governor broad power during emergencies, including the ability to impose curfews, prevent public gatherings and restrict the sale of certain items.

The bill takes effect Nov. 1.

OKDF I am in Caddo county, and really would like for you to see our state in its true corrupted form! I have golfed with a state senator, removed judges and DAs for corruption in office here, and you can call the editor of the county paper, The Anadarko Daily News to confirm that with Paula. I am also the reason a bogus article VII was put back into the Oklahoma state constitution because we had gone over four decades without a single court of competent jurisdiction because they had removed the article establishing one! This is just another legal scam just like state question 447 and 448 were in 1967 supposedly passed to settle jurisdictional defects and bring a corrupt and dependent judiciary back into line with the law. Send me an email addy and I will send you the book that details it very well!

For those coming to the meeting Monday, 5/21/12, the location had to be changed. The Restaurant that we were going to meet at is closed on Monday, they did ot inform me of that. I apologize for this and we have moved to another just down the road. If you have not been informed of the move, please contact me or Okie Medic for the new location.

Daniel and Kenneth, this is the first step in a plan to put a Constitutional Ballot together that will forever secure right to carry in Oklahoma. The Oklahoma Firearms Act of 1971 is the ultimate goal to dismantle all of the provisions that allow the State to subvert a Right that is ours and not a privilege given. There is already more in the works to keep pushing the issue to remove the restrictions we currently face so that a Oklahoma Constitutional Ballot measure can be placed to the people so that this can never happen again. I understand what you are both saying and fully agree with you, but I would hope that you would help in pushing this forward so that we can remove the Illegal Restrictions placed upon us.

Open carry is already the law of the land! This RIGHT cannot be converted to a priviledge by requiring a license or a fee! Murdock v pennsylvania! Do Not be sucked into having this right converted to a regulatory priviledge by pretending this regulation is anything less than a gun grabbers wet dream! Wake the hell up!

Comment by KENNETH LANGDON on May 16, 2012 at 1:58am

Open Carry! Who cares in the long run we are allowed to bear arms in the first place. Frankly I could care less about open carry. This is just another way to control the 2nd Amendment. When and if SHTF are you going to worry about such nonsense as open and carry? Wake up people and look at the big picture. WE HAVE THE BEST CONGRESS THAT MONEY CAN BUY!!!
