When SHTF my alias will be my name, I don't hide I just prefer my pen name (although my real name is common enough especially coming from a family that names the eldest son the same and just changes the middle name). However like most I don't not because I am trying to hide from the Powers that be, I just don't want a ton of spam and chain letters.

Secrecy is ok to an extent like personal bussiness and things that other people have no need to know,but on the other hand a lot of secrecy is being sneaky andthat is not good. I try to conduct my life as to have nothing to hide .as you can see my name on here is my name.

C.M., good for you. I am me, and if people don't like who I am and what I stand for, they can go fly a kite. I will not hide from anybody. That also goes for the gov.

Well because I am in California surrounded by traitors (Democrats) and foreign invaders (illegal aliens), so I don't want to give them a tactical advantage.

So true Timothy. At times we have to keep a low profile. I sometimes forget that I live in the mountains and some have people all around. I don't know if I could live with people next door. We drive down a street with houses side by side and wounder how they stand it. Good luck my friend. Do keep low. But be ready when it starts. Thanks you for being in the fight with us. Ted.

Not only ready, but already out there resisting the invasion with the Minutemen and Save our State. This is the real invasion which has been going on for 30 years, once the globalists have enough anti-American immigrants in the USA, they will be able to vote in their government and shit can the Constitution, they won't need tanks rolling across the border which wouldn't work anyway because we could defeat those. You can already see this anti-American, anti-Constitution bent with Obama, many of the Democrats, and a few (now removed) Republicans.

The gov already knows, yes but the whole world doesn't. Just think more people that you think are disturbed by the President's policies but not very many people are adding bumper stickers to their cars. Why, because their are so many unbalanced people. Who wants to get their car keyed in a parking lot by an over excited and deluded soul that has been brought to such a mental state that he idolatrously associates himself with some politician--A creature like you and me?

Websites like this also get deliberatly targeted by organized gangs of hackers. What prevents them from being deluded like the poor soul in the parking lot. I say speak your mind but protect your families and erase the true names and also don't forget to pray without ceasing for them because none of the Godless people around them will.

We should take the attitude that Civil War II has already begun. But that war is cold and I hope and pray will always remain a cold war!! How will we win it? You win this war on your knees more than by writing editorials or votes although all that is part of your due diligence in preventing actual tyranny from reaching these United States !

I use an alias/nickname, not to hide from the government, but to make it harder. Why make it easier for them. I do it, for many of the reasons that knightrider posted in july, but also because I wish to have some semblance of control to what information the general public can use against me. There are misconceptions about race(skin color), religion and all that.

I carry a gun, not because I am afraid, but because I wish to go on protecting my family and fight for what is right. I verify all who I come upon. I leave the house regularly, but take precautions, such as carrying a gun and being aware of my surroundings. I don't give much information out, unless I verify a person. There are two that I trust; God and myself, and i'm not always sure of the second.

However, their are people that I trust to have my back in a time of need, but that has been in spending much time with them. We approach each other as men, and the women as women, and as adults with honor. We are honest, sometimes brutally honest with each other and our thoughts. We challenge each other to stand up for truth and to be honorable. These people know my name, know that I own business', and know what I stand for. If they don't, they ask.

I use an online "handle" because like 14 million Americans, I too am unemployed. I do not need a potential employer doing a google search on my name and decide I'm some extremist nut job before the interview or getting to know me later.

I can string multiple servers and all those hacker tricks if I felt like expending the effort but I don't waste my time. If they want me, come get me. Give me some notice and I'll make a fresh pot of coffee. They know I'd use prison as an opportunity to recruit among a captive audience who may just be bearing a grudge against the same goons in suits. Worse yet, I talk with other veterans who also never forgot the Oath we took and the Code of Conduct about "It is my DUTY to escape, and to aid others to escape." I assure you locking me up is more trouble than it is worth.

I use my real name most of the time but, there's no specific reason to it. I don't fear the government or anyone else but that really doesn't have any effect on my choice to use my real info. Besides, I am certain that I am already on several of their lists anyhow because I openly speak out against the corruption.

I believe that the decision to use ones real info is a personal choice and it's none of my business to begin with. To each his/her own.

If one needs a pseudonym (alias) to speak their own mind...maybe, just maybe it's better left unsaid. As for myself, i just hope they spell and can pronounce my name correctly. But hey, that's me.

When Oleg is my handle, Gielman is my door… I have other handles, one fits almost as well as Oleg, but I have one door.
