How many are we talking about or what is the ones that would have the farther distance to travel . If you want Sioux falls that works to. Let me know ,give me some numbers and a date and I will find somthing

Well we split up the state into east and west since most of those on the west side are close to rapid city and those on the east are close to Sioux Falls the big problem we've been running into is finding a venue to hold these meetings we were using a church in SF but the guy with that contact is going to be gone all summer

We are in contact now that is what we needed . I think we need a meet some where that is in a location that will make it so any state group could be there . we do have things to talk over to see what we can do to move forward . If we do this I may be abele to get a couple guys to at least check it out .

I totally understand about not wanting to join a hardcore let's train like we're Rangers Militia cuz your right who wants another boss yelling at them to do this or that especially since this is a volunteer kind of deal with no pay

I respond to all posts and emails looking for groups but you have to make the first move I can't help you if I don't know your looking

I know what you are saying but look how fast I got a response when I said what I did . Before that nothing . I know how hard it is to find others on your own . I have been looking for some time but I really do not know a lot of people. People don't want to going something they know nothing about . They don't want to get in another deal where they have some one telling them they have to do this and that like another boss . If they wanted to be in an army then they would .There is things they would need to do or need to have .To have some one tell you every one needs to dress the same carry the same gear is not what they are looking for. I have checked out a couple of sights my self . I asked about starting a group and was advised there were probably enough . I am slow at jumping in with both feet till I know what I am jumping into . Groups and people are different . I looked at another sight and the couple groups looked like a bunch of cowboys with we are going to do this and that . following people like that can get you killed . I would just as soon stay away from that . You said you looked for a while so if you think about it you know what others are looking for . I believe I have run across your sign on another sight . I have to go now but I will contact you again soon . I check the sites a couple of times a day Thanks I will check in later .

As for a hand out I've said before in the comments here that modernmilitiamovement.com also has SD contacts the fact that I looked for eight months is not a sign of poor communication it's a sign of commitment by me to find a group and the lack of groups to be found in this state

Hell the group I'm in has only four members and we started it with just three and I had to break the 50 mile limit just to join. Talk to your friends and family get them on board and I know it's not easy cuz most of my friends won't have anything to do with a militia cuz it's gotten such a bad name and thats also why militias don't advertise to the public least not the ones around here

Not all of those 46 are active or even in the state the real number is somewhere around 15 and spread all over the state so meeting up is an issue. Also not everyone is on the same web site I've joined multiple sites looking for other people and some are not even on the net.

I know wram is not a militia .When some one signs in looking for a group why should they have to spend eight months looking for a group to join as you said. It being a networking site in the state group section at least put a hand out to a person looking for a place to find other men who are not afraid to pick up a sword for battle . Do you just let them wonder around blind . If he should happen to stumble in to your group then you will say I got your back brother . If you have no better communication than that how will the state groups get together to take the field . I agree a fifty mile radius is far enough . In those terms it will take around thirty two groups in the state . Enough for two or three fire teams in a group could be a force large enough to effect the operation of an opposing force. I was gust saying look at the chat on the south Dakota site and the dates of response . Look at the forty six member list . How many on that list could you muster for an action on our door step .
