I would add it as we do not always know what is going to be needed when TSHTF.

For a med kit, how about Wounded Warrior ointment. True it is not something which will be available in a SHTF case but for starters. I was thinking about putting some in my med kit and would like to know what the thought about it is.

Yes, I heard of the cayenne 'powder' tip awhile back via tis video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=dhezE7...

I have heard and do not know yet, that it also helps relieve cramps like one gets while swimming stressed muscle wise.

since getting older I have done a little research about heart attacks. I found that simple cayenne pepper may stop one in its tracks. I eat the stuff like crazy anyway but I will start carrying it in my med kit.
Anyone else heard of this?

Hi all new to this group just thought I would share few things.

Homemade Ice pack
add 1 part rubbing alcohol to 3 parts water to a zip lock bag.

For server burns use egg whites to smear on the burn. Egg whites are a natural collagen with placenta full of vitamins.

Cayeene can also be used to disinfect a wound.

Comfrey can also be placed over wounds to stop bleeding. You can also make a poultice of a fresh, bruised or mashed Plantain leaves to drink as a tea.
