Have answered the roll call, interested in futher contact. Need to understand our purpose, reason to exsist. I am interested in helping my community and state through the changes comming. Looking forward in meeting in person. Looking forward to get further training to hopefully make my roll as medic if allowed to do so. Be safe. Well communicate later.

This country was founded by a rare breed of men who brought about the greatest experiment in democracy the world has ever seen. They were the kind that is absent from the fabric of America today. Yet, in that same democracy today, things are turned upside down. What is right is wrong and if it is wrong or immoral it is right. Sometimes I muse on just what the Founding Fathers would say about this country today. What they would do when they see how the Constitution they wrote is twisted, distorted, undermined and out right ignored. What they would say about the greed an averse of those we send to represent us.

There is a portrait of Thomas Jefferson on the wall of my study where I compose these thoughts. This enigma of a man gave us the inspiring rhetoric of the Constitution of Virginia and the Declaration of Independence. He is an inspiration to me on many levels of patriotism and the pride I have in being an American. That rare breed of man is nowhere to be found today when we so sorely need them.

Today, too many are Patriots in name only. They are sheepish and fearful of the powers that be and of the media while having ill-conceived notions of law enforcement. Why? There are no black helicopters hovering below the tree line. There is no van with blacked out windows working surveillance parked at the end of the street. They are not here to disrupt what we are about – Patriotism.

The Lone Wolf hero’s like Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo and Bruce Willis’s John Mclean are figments of Holy Wood, nothing more. To train alone is frivolous while fighting alone will only end in a very quick death. The lone wolf concept may be great for fantasies but in reality it is a tragedy waiting to happen.

To assemble as a team, group, or unit is necessary. Why be afraid of antagonist infiltration when we are doing nothing wrong. There are no illegal weapon, no talk of treason or sedition, merely likeminded citizens joining together to hone their skills and to learn from one another. Every Patriot must be a rifleman qualified as an expert marksman out to 600 yard not the eight inch group at 100 yards that some units accept. How far is your perimeter? You are only as safe as your most confidently accurate shot. Each member of the group should cross train in weapons, communications protocol and use, medical aid, logistics and intelligence operations then become a specialist in one area. We must master fieldcraft, water purification, and disaster triage to begin the list. If any would be infiltrator does show up they will be surprised just how much they would learn. The danger is not infiltration, the danger is false fear.

Consider this: Wearing military woodland BDU’s tends to upset the natives and in times of trouble if the balloon goes up will get you shot. Be a grey man and train in civilian dress. Camo? Use hunters Real Tree or Mossy Oak camo and nobody will pay attention. You see people wearing this stuff year round.

In closing, we prepare for contingencies which are defined as: events that might occur in the future, especially a problem or emergency that might arise unexpectedly and therefore must be prepared for and dealt with. No conspiracies, but any trouble foreign or domestic, natural or manmade that may occur. Acquired skills are perishable and you will never hone those abilities without training and practice, practice, practice!

Interested in getting to gether and shooting and training. Don't shoot much anymore, I have gotten rusty. Would like to meet and discuss further.

I am just a man who believes in freedom and liberty, nothing more, nothing less. One who is aware there is but one way that we can preserve these precepts: to prepare. Freedom of speech, of religion and the right to own a gun are under attack as never before and times are more dangerous than any time since the end of the end of the Cold War.

• Our economy has been driven off of a cliff but those we elected that have no clue what they are doing.
• Our national leadership started what the media called the Arab Spring which has erupted into nothing less than an Islamic firestorm.
• This leadership is showing determined weakness in the face of Iran who is fanatically determined to have nuclear weapons which, if built, WILL be used against not only Israel but also Europe, and, if they find a way, this country.
• Gas prices are artificially high which has in turn, drive up the cost of food and nothing is being done due to administrative incompetence.

This list could go on but it begs the question; in these troubled times are we cyber Patriots only? Can we not come together to discuss contingencies for the preservation of our corner of the world? Are we arm chair Patriots who derive solace only from the glow of a computer screen? I think not! I raise the call to come together, to talk, discuss, and prepare. We MUST build a group prepared for contingencies whether the result of economic collapse, Narco or Islamic terrorism, nuclear attack, marshal law, canceled elections, revocation of the Constitution, false flag operations, or rouge socio-leftist zombie attacks.

I pose this only as a request. When will we meet?

I am now living in Nevada. I was born in Danville, Virginia, back in 1944. I am one of the Keatts Clan. I am begining to believe that only Special People becomes part of the Militia's and we all stand ready to defend the rights of those that are not really all that special.
However, all people can become Special by just signing on as a member of the Militia.
Even us 'Oldies But Goodies' can still do something to help out.

You can talk till your blew in the face ,it doesn't do any good .
All we can do is prepare ourselves ,and hope the masses get on board.
