I have been wanting to add a Glock 23 to my collection, mostly due to their reputation and cause its a caliber that I already shoot. I have fired many Glocks in the past and really appreciate their ruggedness. The problem I have is that none of their grip frame configurations fit my hand. I have seen a few pics of Glocks that have been stippled and the cavity behind the mag well had been filled with some sort of epoxy and sanded down. My question is whether anyone here has ever bought, shot or handled a Glock that had been modified like this. I'm also curious bout what type of epoxy would work and how the stippling process is done. I think I seen one that was done with a wood burning kit or solder iron.

yes....one of the first companies doing this was Robar out of Phoenix,AZ check them out  mostly for pics...buddy does it now PGP=Polymer Grip Profiling out of Weatherford, TX uses Dev-Constating the product is very close to what frame material is composed of so cracking etc. is not an issue with  epoxy, although I'm sure there are various  products  and with some research can be found similar to Dev-Con........he uses soldiering iron/wood burner, but since this is your firearm there are no rules on how to get texture you have in mind

You don't need to do this. There is a grip adapter available which adds a beavertail, heavy stipling www.GlockStore.com carries it. I have it on a 35 and it really made an improvement.

AR-15 VS. SU-16 9 Replies

My home group and I have decided to standardize our ammunition and have chosen the 5.56 NATO round as our standard so that when the time comes, we can exchange ammo and mags in the heat of battle if need be. None of us want to be caught running out…Continue

Will I be setting myself up for my rounds to jam? 42 Replies
