WELL,THRRE HE IS , I SHOT ONE JUST LIKE THAT IN MEDINA,TX IN 85! HE AND HIS MATE WERE GRAZING AT THE BOTTOM OF A HILLSIDE! I GOT ONE DEAD ON HEART SHOOT TO HIS RIGHT SIDE,WATCHED THE ANIMAL FALL SLAP DOWN,GET UP AND DTART RUNNING UP THE ROCKY BILL! WE,ME AND THE OTHER HUNTERS TRACKED HIM UP THE HILL ,HE STOPPED RESTED .LOSING BLEED LIKE CRAZY! AS HE DTSRTED RUNNING AGSIN TWO OF THE OTHER HUNTERS GOT ROUNDS OFF TO HIS NECK! HE STILL KEEPT RUNNING UP AND STOPPED ONE MORE TIME! I HAD A CHOICE OF A SHOT TO THE HEAD OR ANOTHRR TO THE NECK! DIDN' T WANT TO RUIN A GOOD HEAD MOUNT SO I TOOK THE NECK SHOT! LOOKED LIKE THAT DID IT , YEAH RIGHT ,WE GOT WITHIN 10 FEET OF HIM LAYING ON THE GROUND . HE JUMPED UP ,SCARED ALL OF US TO DEATH AND HE WENT A RINNING WEAVING TO THE TOP OF THAT HILL, THAT WAS THE LAST I EVER SAW MY TTOPHY
