Volcanic Alert (Mexico 3.16.13)

The Colima Volcano in central Mexico, is becoming increasingly active and scientists are warning the local residents to be aware of the possibility of lava flow. This is only a localized warning in the area around the volcano. Eruption is highly unlikely. The location of the volcano, some 630 miles south of Brownsville, TX has placed it on some scientist “radar” to keep an eye on. Common Sense Preparedness Digital Broadcasting is designed to help give the American public emergency readiness information on how to prepare and manage any type of emergency. The shows main focus is how to prepare for man made and natural disasters. Our mission is to provide life safety information to both business and the general public in order to help prepare people.

The show is hosted by Tim Howard of HE Safety, where he shares his 25+ years experiences in the emergency management field, with the listening audience. His experience comes from being involved with conflicts in Panama, Desert Storm, Iraq and Afghanistan, being a chemical / biological warfare instructor, firefighter fire safety officer and area safety manager. Tim has been involved with various federal, state and local agencies.

Tim has also been involved with disasters around the world to include 911, hurricanes Rita, Katrina and Hugo, Haiti earthquake, Wallow wildfires and the 2004 Indonesia tsunami.

Common Sense Preparedness will never get into politics or when the end of the world is coming. We will help prepare you and inform you for all disasters (natural and man-made).
