In 2011 the Walton County Committee of Safety was formed.
Before this committee the Militia know as the Walton GA Defense Corps was already in full operation.
Though the Defense corps had been approved with signed letters from the governor We seemed to have become a threat to the local corrupt police authorities. It was not the militia that they were threatened by it was the legal establishment of the Committee of Safety that they feared.
