There is a regular section in the NRA magazine FIRST FREEDOM about citizens having to defend themselves, and I am fairly certain that the SECOND AMENDMENT SISTERS also have a few tales to tell.  The bottom line - better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.  The weight is less of a burden than regret.  Be prepared for the US to default on the debt obligation in the next few weeks; and by summer rampant looting and lawlessnes in the major metropolitan areas, which will be a good excuse to institute martial law with citizens being rounded up and placed into camps if they aren't shot.

It took years for my wife to come around but she is finally awake. At first she was neutral about it, then she hated it. Within the last year she started to see beyond the everyday bs that is spit out by the media and pop culture. People must awaken on their own to what is going on around them. Just keep doing what you are doing and in the end she will accept it or she won't. If your lucky she may eventually assist you in your prepping. That is where we are right now and our marriage is stronger for it. Just remember to live your life outside the militia as well and she will not resent your beliefs.

I can tell you from experience, and have paid a heavy price for being a militia leader back in the 90's. Not everyone will agree with you what we stand for. I know, Cost me my marriage and a job. I would say stand fast and keep in mind what the cause is really about. "Freedom." Freedom for you, for her and our children. And all American now and future generations.

 

Many of those who signed The Declaration of Independence paid a great and exacting price. Some gave everything and all that they had up to and including their lives. Some died poor who were considered weathy. They knew if they didn't pay the price now, later we would still be living under the oppression they were suffering under.

 

You have to ask yourself, what will freedom cost you? Now you see why it isn't free. Some one has to pay. The question is. What price will you pay?

 

I have continued to stay the course. The decision is your. Will you?

Rob, I'm Minutemans wife and what he says is true. Most people that shy away from things are not fully educated on the issue at hand. I think if she got around other patriot women, talked to them and participated in some of the activities, such as shooting maybe she will see the other side. If she doesn't, well unfortunately at that time you will have to make a decision.....as Minuteman said, I too hope that this will not be the case.

Im lucky,, my wife has never doubted my resolve or thinking when it comes to protecting us!! She is also efficient with any gun and is a firm supporter of the Modern Militia Movement!!!! I would suggest getting her to go shooting!! Ive seen so many people that hated guns end up buying their own collection after going out for some shoot fun!! Then further this up with some meeting other women that are patriots that shoot guns!! Girls like being with other girls for the talk!! Get her involved with the others in your area!! Bear in mind brother that she just might not want any of this,, at that point,,, you my friend will have to make a decision on your relationship!! Ive seen a lot of couples break apart over this movement!! I really hope that is not your case!! Good luck Patriot!! Hope this helps!! Need anything else call on me!!
