A severe storm swept across most Midwest and Northeast region yesterday and today causing power outages, tornados, down trees. All State Emergency Operation Centers (EOCs) have return to normal status and three American Red Cross Shelters are open in PA and NY. Power has been resorted to 50% of the customers who were without power and work continues on restoring full power.

This storm system injured 3 and killed one. The one death in PA is still under investigation and at this time is unconfirmed that it is storm related.

The Wildland Fire Preparedness Level has been decrease to a level 2. This is due to heavy rains the southwest and Northwest has been receiving.
