FEMA OPERATIONAL REPORT (July 31, 2012)

Today’s FEMA Operational Briefing.

The monsoons in the southwest are beginning to cause minor damage, with the collapse of a canal bank in Imperial Valley, CA.

There is a possible hurricane developing in the Atlantic. Currently the storm is disorganized about 1150 miles WSW of Cape Verde Islands. There is a low chance (20%) of this storm developing into a Tropical Storm.

The Mineral, VA fault line is becoming active again, releasing a 2.4M earthquake last night at 12:43am EST . No damaged has been reported, except some nerves.
