There is an article coming in from the Washington Times that exposes the fact that North Korea may be experimenting with EMP weapons. This information is being verified by the Chinese Military.

Maybe a solar flare or CME is not the real EMP threat, by here on earth we have governments waiting to wage war on the free world.

What would be the effect of an EMP weapon being utilized here in the US, well you can forget about your electronics, TV, Cell Phones and GPS. The internet would be disrupted. The article dose mention that there would be a small (Tactical) nuclear explosion, along with the EMP Pulse. So now that effect opens up a whole new can of worms. Decon procedures, radiation sickness, plus the physical damage to ground zero.

A EMP threat is very real, whether it come from the Sun or from a terrestrial source, our family emergency plans must take into consideration how to handle a EMP Pulse and its aftermath.
