Friday, April 13, 2012COOK COUNTY VIOLATING HOMEOWNERS RIGHTS
Homeowners are being charged $350.00 filing fees in Cook County to file and forcible entry and detainer act. The fact is that even through Homeowners pay these fees, our rights are still violated by the Cook County Judges violating the Illinois Code of Civil Procedures 735 ILCS 5/9 Forcible Entery and Detainer Act. However, in Lake County Illinois evictions takes only 30-60 days. BUT in Cook County Evictions are taking 2-3 Years.
1. Is this a violation of Homeowners rights?
2. Does Homeowners in Cook County have rights to have evictions done in a timely Matter? 30-60 days?
