SOLAR ALERT (Geomagnetic storms and flares)
NOAA is reporting that we can expect to be hit with a geomagnetic storm and there is over a 55% chance of M Class flares being disbursed from the 5 sun spots, currently on the earth side of the sun. Sun Spots 1512 to 1516 are currently on the earth side of the sun and both 1513 and 1515 have beta-gamma (BG) magnetic fields that can cause M-Class flares.
Currently a large Coronal Hole is cause the solar wind to increase in speed to about 660 km/sec and this wind will arrive to earth before the 4th of July, causing geomagnetic storms at the polar caps.
