Liberals Trying Anything to Rid Self-Defense
The 'Stand Your Ground Law' present in nearly half of our states is being attacked from all directions. The image they are portraying to the public could not be further from the truth; they are calling these self-defense laws, "Shoot First." The Stand Your Ground Law has saved many lives and will continue to do so in the future. We must stand our ground against these lawmakers to make sure we retain the freedom to defend ourselves.

On May 8th, at around 4 o' clock a report broke that democrats were pushing an amendment to overturn the 'Stand Your Ground Law'. This amendment was going to cut 20% from the Byrne Justice Assistance Grants in States that had these self-defense laws. These grants fund many things including Law Enforcement. So not only did they want to cut the self-defense law putting more pressure on Law Enforcement to regulate crime, they would then cut funding from the Law Enforcement who would need a surplus of funding if these self-defense laws were banished.

Just 5 short hours later the democrats withdrew the 'Trayvon Amendment'! This victory has come from national support of these self-defense laws. The constant pressure we are putting on these liberals thanks to all of you who have made your voice heard is stopping anti-gunners in their tracks. Representative Keith Ellison, a democrat from Minnessota, says he will try to force a debate at a more "appropriate" time. Not on our watch... We will keep the people informed when these liberals try to take away our self-defense freedoms.
As you can see from this map, states all over the country have a version of the 'Stand Your Ground' law. These anti-gun lobbyists would love nothing more than to rid the law completely.

The only stories of the Stand Your Ground laws the media leaks are when the law is being portrayed in a negative light. We educate the public on the good that comes of this law. A week before New Year's Eve toward the end of December 2011, Sarah McKinley's husband and father of their 3 month old baby died of cancer. On the day of his funeral a man stopped by her house who simply told Sarah he wanted to say hello, she did not let him in. A week later on New Year's Eve, December 31, 2011, the man returned with his friend and a footlong, not a meatball marinara from Subway but rather a 12" hunting knife. Sarah sat with her 3 month old baby on the phone with 911 waiting for the door to be kicked in by these hooligans. The 911 operator told her to do what she had to, protect your child.

Sarah was a brave mother; when that door got kicked in she made this the last mistake Justin Martin would ever make as she put one in his chest with her shotgun. The Police backed Sarah McKinley 100% when Detective Dan Huff said, "You're allowed to shoot an unauthorized person that is in your home. The law provides you the remedy, and sanctions the use of deadly force." Why wasn't this mother portrayed as a hero and brought on every national talk show to talk about her self-defense rights?

This unfortunate situation with the shooting of Trayvon Martin has people chomping at the bit to get rid of these laws nationwide. They say it is a "shoot first", ask questions later law. Surely, if their heads were being slammed into the ground and they needed to defend themselves, they'd have a different view on things. These people are simply anti-gun whackos who are taking advantage of a situation to rid something they don't agree with. All we know right now is what the media has fabricated. A producer was fired at NBC for tampering with the 911 call; he only included bits and pieces of the call to make George Zimmerman appear racist and judgmental.
Liberal media and anti-gunners have taken advantage of a young man's death to come after our Nation's citizen's right to defend themselves. We must let our voice be heard supporting this great law now!
