I ran across this article in New American Truth titled "Become A Renaissance Survivalist", in which the author discusses our need to become a master of several different skill sets, not just those that we enjoy and in which we're already competent.

The main five that were listed are:

I personally need to brush up on my first-aid skills, plus add a few items to my bug-out bag, mainly as extras for the benefit of the community.

It's a great article that I highly recommend everyone read and share. We need more "Renaissance Men & Women" in this world!
