Good Luck Jim they will take your car...You need to surrender the title, get a copy of the manufacturers statement of origin, then travel without anything, except a receipt that you actually paid for the car...it'll still be trouble but less trouble because you won't be under DOT rules if you don't have a certificate of title under a State. You could always play in by creating a pure trust (which is a separate entity, then put the vehicle in a trust name...then run it

Thank you, time for all Americans to rise and get off their butt. My Grandfather was in WWII, Dad in the Air Force spying on the Russians during the Cold War and Nephew is back from Iraq now. I have been through thinking we lost it and now that weak minded state of mind is over, never to return. If we give up and run away it would be a slap in the face to all the brave men who fought and died for this great nation. Never give up and never let them make you feel defeated!
